rediff continues its poor show by allowing such lousy incomplete and vague articles. its time either you stopped publishing these articles as it raises a lot of expectation of information by the reader or you hire better writers who can give a better insight.
The companies work thru TRP (3rd party administrtaors) and in case of any conflict they try to avoid responsibilites by putting on one another and in process the consumer suffers
The form of ICICI Lombard for eg does not carry any clause like exclusions in first year or first month of no claims. But these details later get divulged.
the strtegy they follow is also about not sending any renewal notices like it happens in case of a LIC life policy
A typical axample for Corporate exceutives is - suppose you keep changing job every 2 years and suppose you are covered by corporate health plans by each new company from the same insurance company, Dont assume that everything is fine. because if the time comes for a claim of lets say gall bladder stone or kidney stone etc. they will not cover it because the there is no continuity in policy and in each individual policy for 1st 2 years these ailmenst are not covered.
They have much more tricks.. quite unfair.. up their sleeves to deny you genuine claims
