Sir I am using citibank card from last 1 year. IN OCT 2007 I DIDNT GOT STATEMENT FROM CITIBANK, I REPORTED THIS MATTER TO CUSTOMER CARE, THEY PROMISED 2 SEND A DUPLICATE COPY TO ME, I PAID THE AMOUNT ITZ OF Rs 7097 ,i didnt got statement till date,In NOV 2007 DIDNT GOT STATEMENT AGAIN I REPORT THIS MATTER( I WAS 117 MINS) WAITING TIME FOR ME, THEN ALSO I TOLD THE SAME ..I PAID THE AMOUNT Rs.11158 Sir i am into bussiness i have to travel all over india, i kept some signs cheque with my wife to make payments, earlier in may i paid amount twice the amount is off Rs7717, in confusion i paid the amount and mine wife also did, just to over come this type of sitution i decided my wife will pay in future,IN DEC2007 THE STORY IS SAME NO STATEMENT, I CALLED MY WIFE AND SAID U PAY Rs 4000 in favour of citibank, after which i called in customer care they told me amount was some thing near 3850,IN JAN2008 I got call from INDORE, IN VERY ABUSIVE LANGUAGE GUY WAS SHOUTING ON ME, WITH LOT OF EVIL WORDS, ASKED ME FOR A PAYMENT OF 37240,I WAS SHOCKED MY LIMIT WAS 36000 only how come over limit, he only told me itz 54000, really surprize, guy told me we will wait till amount is Rs 51000, then we will show u WHO WE R ? i had credit card from dubai(uae) and now i am in india and i need to pay my outstanding balance..but bank people calling me on phone and thretning my perents..becouse i am not able to pay them now..all in one shot..i can pay in instolments..what should i do? my name is jayesh
If someone offers you a free lifetime credit card and if it is SBI, then please please please for god%u2019s sake do not ever accept the offer. I have already made a mistake by applying for the SBI card and I do not want you guys to make the same mistake again. Here is my story: I had applied for lifetime free SBI card though Lifestyle departmental stores. I used the card on few occasions and cleared my payment from time to time. At that time I was using SBI%u2019s online facility to check my invoices because I was not getting invoices by post. But After sometime, the online site stopped accepting my username and password and new registration also did not work. After 4-5 months a person from SBI visited my place and asked for the payment. On inquiring, I was told that I have to pay some Rs. 13500 that amount has been reversal due to check bounce, I got shocked when it was said to me because that 13500 which I had made a payment was in cash mode but yet till today I am getting call from banks for the payment.
After talking to the manager, I got to know that invoices were being sent to wrong address and this way the interest got added with the actual amount. The person apologized for the same and assured me that he will send fresh copy of invoice with correct amount within 2-3 days. But till date I have not received that! After 7-8 months, I started getting invoices with the same incorrect amount. I called up customer care regarding this issue. I was told to get in touch
Dera Mr: Desai, I have an ICICI credit card of credit limit 50000 and when I used the card to purchase a mobile phone the first time it showed insufficient funds.When I enquired on the phone ICICI agent insisted that I can not purchase gold and electronics for more than 20000 and must report them for every purchase which looked absolutely ridiculus.When I asked thenm to mail thaat info / give a reference number for the conversation I was denied.Even after a prolonged conversation they suggested me to buy stuff from retail market.I thought they have crossed their limit.Dont we have freedom to purchase whatever we want on the credit card?Does bank really has an authority to say what to purchase and what not to purchase within your credit limit when I am paying taxes.Because of this hassle I got delayed on my trip to Hyderabad and which costed me an additional 1500 Rupees.When we ask them for the email address for the personal mangers / a responsible person they deny that.They dont give their direct contact number and extenion.They provide no written proof of what they are suggesting.80% of credit cards are used to purchase electronics and gold and I am forced to spend less than 2000 which is 40% of credit limit for such purchases.HOw can I escalate and make sure I get quick resolution and the reps understand what they are talking makes sense.All Indian bank agents are so unprofessional treating customers as beggers and intruding into our personal life.Can nothing be done.Are
I had problems with SBI card balance which was shot down. On informing them at I want apoplogy and settlement I have been kept in dark. Every day I call them, sometimes no one even bothers to take the call. For the past two month I am being mentally harassed and there has been no positive respone to my emails even. the mails sent runs into pages.
My self is Birendra Behura & I am having an ICICI bank Credit card which I am using since last two years, & I have made all the payment regularly.
in the month of Oct I bought two railway tickets from reservation counter & they swipe my card with Rs 30/- transaction fee per ticket & I signed the transaction slip.
But I was amaze to see the my bill statement for the same & ICICI BANK CHARGE 2.5% additional more than transaction value.
& when I enqire the same on credit card dept, they could not give any satisfactory answer.
My question is - Can Bank charge more than transaction amount.

Respected sir , I am salary account holder of Axis Bank, Dadar branch. I am based at SILIGURI, WB. I applied for debit card PIN 2-months before and customer care services confirm the issuance of PIN but after calling more than 20-times to Dadar branch by spending couple of hundred rupees from my post-paid mobile, I am still to get any intimation from bank side. I go everyday to Bank and got big zero.

I am Sandeep Lohchab, I used to carry a HSBC credit card and few days after receipt of Credit Card, I got a call from TATA AIG saying that %u201CTATA AIG-HSBC have made a partnership for general insurance%u201D. That executive start telling me about the plan and start gathering me the information, I told him that I don%u2019t require this kind of policy. Instead of my denying he sent me the policy.
After receipt of the policy, again I called the TATA-AIG that I don%u2019t want this policy. But no action has been taken and when I receipt the statement that policy premium amount was there.
After that I called HSBC and TATA AIG many times. They are saying that you have to give written application for cancellation. Then I told that I have never opted for this policy then why should I apply for cancellation.
But they are always adding that amount to my statement.
Finally I destroyed the card.
But, still I am getting the calls from them regarding the payment.
Please help me what should I do in such situation.
AS I HAVE NEVER GIVE ANY ACCEPTANCE IN WRITTEN THEN WHY THEY ARE CHARGING ME FOR THIS KIND OF POLICY.
