Well, past few days I am seeing nothing but infy on rediff. I am a regular rediff reader and now I have understood their news pattern. What the hell is going on. I worked in infy for 4 years and let me tell you there is nothing great as such. Outsiders might think too much after looking at the beautiful buildings and green gardens but check with someone who has spent some time inside. I have due respect for infy and appreciate there work but I don't think TCS, WIPRO and SATYAM are doing anything different but still they get step brother treatment by the Indian media.
Now coming back to rediff. They are here to increase the page "hits". Poor people don't have any "hot" news in rainy season so they pull out something from the archive and fill up the pages. The recent rediff stunt is "Hot" bollywood scenes. Why don't they publish the URL's of the porn sites that do such jobs in much better way. People who have access to Internet don't need rediff to show these hot scenes, I guess people are smart enough for that. I hope they do some constructive work and stop these cheap things.
Thanks for giving a good article. I had seen some negative postings about this article. The article is inspiring and proud that infy is an Indian company. There will be people like me who just dont about the information in this article. What ever may be the reason for displaying article, but it is fine and good.

Actually, as an outsider, I just look at this article as some information provider about how that company grooms their inhouse leaders, what process and methodologies are used to do it, how various real time situations are given to potential candidates to analyze their ideas and action plans to implement the situation or resolve real time issues within the time window and budgets given
Overall, I think that we should view such articles as just a information provider, rather than as a marketing tool used by Infosys in websites to woo more software professionals or to show that they are the only authority in the current IT scenario in India.
We all know that a company success manthra thrives due to skillful employees and efficient managers who can direct them properly and take practical, efficient decisions in a timebound manner. Also inhouse funds is important to make sure that there is no additional pressure on the company or its employees
If we take the good points out of this article and leave the bad ones and our egos aside, it will be interesting
The article provides an answer to the phenomenal growth and success of Infosys. Infy's core ideology, framework and strategies can truly be related to visionary companies such as Sony, GE, Boeing, Motorola.. and the list goes on..Mr. Murthy is a transformational leader who has always kepts the core values and purpose of his organization beyond everything else and that is their reason of success. Infy simply breathes of ethics, values, empowerment, etc, etc... I bow my head to the great leaders of Infy who have creates a corporation that will truly last long after they have left...

I used to think Infy was a great IT company. I now believe it is a better PR company. I basically do not see th point in reading article after article abt the "greatness" of this company. too much of anything can be detrimental.
I m sure its employees are not as gung-ho abt this organisation as much as rediff seems to be. or maybe its rediff, who have discovered the art of packaging corporate advertising in the form of yellow journalism.

If it is there-letz see u put up atleast a few points! If you cant do anything, atleast learn to shut up!
Is there is any tie-up between Infosys and rediff? How come every other day there is a news about Infosys? What about the people in corporate communications department of Infosys doing or rediff reporters doing? Do you really think there is nothing to talk about other software companies?
Motivating

In response to the idea of getting paid.
I do not know/care whether rediff gets paid for these articles or not. But it is always good to present articles in positive direction **. It is always better than giving articles about our politicians/filmi stuff etc., As India is growing it needs people/leaders with strong character , proper mental attitude etc., Articles like these motivate people across the nation and project the positive face of India. It's better for us to extract the useful motivating content from these articles rather than attributing motives to the authore/site. If TCS or WIPRO or any other firm also follows similar techniques we wish /request rediff to carry articles on them as well.
best regards prasad ** I read somewhere about a magazine which gives more importance/prominence to even a small positive cheerful incidence, compared to a major incidence which is more violent/bad etc., Are you not fed up everyday reading headlines about rapes murders etc., in the front page?

You try creating such a company first..that is why Indians are known for pulling ppl who do something-ppl like you are enough for that!
Once again , the story about Infy is not new. But you have confirmed my belief that you are getting paid for all Infy articles. How else do you explian a story every 4th day !!! Its a shame that you don't think Wipro and TCS etc are not doing this. There doesn't seem to be any other company worth writing a story about. Shameful journalism!!!

Hey Deepak, Dont feel bad about not being part of Infy.Next time u attend an interview there, u shld get thru'. Nowadays, even trespassers are being recruited in! Btw,Infy is not the only successful Indian company. There are so many other much more successful companies, but the stupid media always covers Infy as if it served their daily bread and butter. This is really shameful of Indian media. They are simply going overboard, to say the least!
If you are going to croon and be subserviant to Infosys everday, then I have to rethink for the first time about keeping you as my home page.
We too can feel it; and if Mr. N Moorthy does not understand, an overdose of Infosys is only cloying to it's readers. I have managed it to avoid it in print media; dont make me do it on the internet also.
