the article above is marketing for Infosys to get the ginipigs! My sister is working in Infosys Pune from 5th Feb 2005. She has never come home before 8pm since then.Atleast 10 to 12 hours a day. Her ML drinks during dinner at office while they are to go back n work till over midnight. PM says its schedule given by on sight team so he has to stick to it! HR says cant give more team members for this project. The Superior to PM gives lectures like i dont want anyone to work after 6 or on saturdays! but the truth is more than 50% employees take buses after 8 pm or so. Why do they have buses till 9 or shuttle even after 1 pm to drop the employees if our Dear Narayanmurthi doesnt want his empls to work 8 Hrs a day? all said and done their growth is commendable. but one has heard stories abt them (lots of work/ or NO work/ less money etc. ) had put it down to a certain amount of envy from non employess , but of late even employess are cribbing abt the work....those (if i am not mistaken) joined post 2002 and did not get any ESOPS or not in the same mould as earlier lot) ...of course these can happen across cos and nothing unique to infy as such . but it might be a good idea to speak to juniors and see how great its being an infoscician.

Dear Abhay, Why don't you suggest your sis to leave Infosys and look out for some other job?! There is no point in cribbing and still sticking to the organization, isn't it?
I have no connection with Infosys nor with the tech industry.....still I feel that the above article is extremely thought provoking and a trend setter for similar units inthe industry and also in other industry. No wonder, Infosys is THE Leader in many ways and have created such an entrepreneur like Mr Murthy. Not withstanding all negative comments from some elements, please keep up the flow of such articles from Infosys and even the likes of Wipro so that others would also get motivated to nurture such extra ordinary companies.........
first of all many congrats to Infy on celebrating the Silver Jubilee an that in style. There is no doubt that Infy will be the Future IBM. I hope it will be better than IBM in near future. I believe this as the onliest company that has proved that ethics are not only meant to be in book rather we can bring them into reality. Infy is a big example for this whose phenomenal growth itself is selfevident that hardwork with set of principles can create wonders. My million thanx to chief mentor NRN an CEO Nandan Nilekani an the whole team that has continuosly worked hard to Achieve Infy , what actually its today.

Infosys has emerged its Good Banking solution namely Finacle in the Banking Sector in Mauritius.Actually there are many Commercials Banks took Finacle as their Banking Solution. It is really a great effort being done in early days.
i fail to understand why rediff ( or any other portal, newspaper, magazine for that matter ) is so much obsessed with infy. there are so many other companies in india doing as commendable work as infy (if not more)...dont they deserve even one article for every ten articles on infy??
With the implementation of the 9 pillars , the company will grow from strength to strength. An element of consultation-action - reflection process also to be incorporated in your system to make the system more flexible.
Ppl are saying that why media is not publishing any article for TCS or wipro. The simple reason is transparency in Infosys is pretty good not only for employees but also for share holders and media. Way to go Infy and I guess second generation of leadership will be also pretty good. Way to go infy.
