Indians should no doubt be proud of Mr Murthy's prognosis for the future, for the Instituition they have created called "Infosys".However, the baton has to be handed over to the right hands to be ahead of the race. I see this to be lacking in his speech.Synergerial qualities are required to vibrate the next generation Businessmen. As our Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi said you cant be bad in one segment and good in all other segments of life since life is one holistic subject as a whole. The appreciations Mr Murthy has given to the Investors and the Long time champions ( Old generation acheivers ) in Infoysys also are not very evident and forthcoming. Let us stop thinking how many more Mr Murthys can India create. Instead think how many more Mr Murthys can India bring to the fore/recognise who are now hidden behind the screens.
Not long ago we were unaware of what we were capable of. Infosys, NRN, and a group of leaders have made us realize ourselves. more than what we could do in a century, we have observed it in the last 25 years. they belong to a different creed of people who will keep inspiring to join the same league. handsomely stated, clearly outlined; all these are the traits of a true visionary.
Dear Mr Murthy, I feel really proud about the way Infy has worked to sustain itself on top in the world market. As a professional in the same field, I also feel that Infosys should strongly focus on core technologies by coming up with patented products than just being a solution/services vendor. Thats the only way we can compete with the top players in the US and other parts of the world. I am sure that infy definitely has what it takes to invest in world class R&D in some of the core computer science technologies. I wish that you give a serious thought on this matter as Infy is now 25 yrs, pretty stable and can afford to get into core product business.
As a leader he value society...he think abt the people of the india..thts why everyone trust on him... i really admired Mr. narayana murthy and wish him very good luck...
Question is whether de-risking and redundancy factor mentioned is implemented at the cost of every's employee's Income?
Nandan's Leadersip as one of the reasons for the Infosys long term survival looks to be only to develop the trust of the Employees in the leadership. Even if you accept it , wouldn't it also depend on the next leaderships as I doubt whether Nandan will live for 250 years.
I do believe in the comment mentioned that the Company cannot be successfull unless it contributes and has respect in the respective society.
Dear sir,i am lucky enough that i read a good, inspiring, motivating&directive message from a great CEO of the nation. If every person(he/she)in the country follows these principles in thier areas definnitely our nation will grow in a multiface with multidirection.Particulary i think Indian political &Indian corporate environment still should learn a lot from him.
Nice message. Every one has(both employee and employer) to realize "Money is not the only motivator; respect, dignity, fairness and inclusiveness are essential to get the best out of employees. Every employee must feel an inch taller when talking about the company."
