Man is not GOD, nor the TRUE TEACHER
by Guest on Jul 18, 2008 11:49 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The only true guru is GOD himself. Man is a created being and can never be equal with his creator. Yes, the Holy Bible reveals that man was created in GOD's image but that only means Man is distinct from all other creation and is at the top of the creation order. That is exactly why we are different from animals.GOD gave MAN dominion over the earth and all other creatures. For the same reason, falling at another man's feet and worshipping him is SIN. IDOLATARY is the greatest SIN as per the Holy Bible. Find the true GOD and the only true Guru and Good Shepherd Lord Jesus Christ. No one can be saved without faith in HIM and HIS atoning sacrifice. This is what the Holy Bible says and this is what I believe. Look for the true GOD in the Holy Bible. Rest is all man made approximations and deviations of the TRUTH. WE were created by GOD for himself and we can never find peace without HIM. There is always this vaccuum in us which we often try to fulfill in wrong ways like money, power, lust, human approval, worshipping created beings etc etc. Our soul will never find rest till we meet the TRUE GOD and have a personal relationship with HIM. There is nothing against anyone. This is my personal belief. I am just asking that you evaluate the TRUTH yourself with ruthless honesty and you will find that the TRUE GOD will reveal HIMSELF to you. While everyone is free to follow his personal belief, a honest evaluation with not do any body any harm.

God and guru are the same. And both are within us and not outside. But every thing outside that helps realise our potential to see the god within is worthy of our extreme heartfelt gratitude. Just that in the process we should not forget to thank ourselves. There is no bigger sin and an abuse to the god than believing that we are sinners and that some one else even though a great person can ever help us be free of it.

What crap are you talking about? If God & guru are the same then is every guru a God? This sort of nonsensical stuff needs to be condemned. There is only one God who is to be worshipped not any guru. Guru's job is to impart knowledge but that does not mean he assumes the status of God. He is after all a human being with weaknesses just like any one else.

Your second point of thanking oneself is nothing but arrogance, pride and self righteousness which is one of the greatest sins of mankind. Thanking oneself is nothing but pandering to your selfish ego.

Remember little knowledge is a dangerous thing. So before penning your thoughts be a little more circumspect.

Guru is not merely a human being. He is the one between human and God. Without having a Satguru no one can reach to God. And What is worshipping a God. Who is he? Have u seen him. Worshipping does not mean going to temples, tourching a candle or ringing bells. True worship is to see God within u and this can happen only by the grace of Guru.

Renu you don't need a guru to reach out to God. You are making out God to be some abstract and arcane thing which the common man cannot find. This is a typical castist version of Hinduism. The Brahmin has all the knowledge which he chooses to disseminate to only a select few to perpertuate his creed. This is utter rubbish and needs to be flung out of the window with the contempt it deserves.

Guru is just a representative of God. He helps disciple to undrstand/realize the deeper facts of life and the journey of sould move ahead. but yes there are only countable gurus now a days. The word guru itself has become very light now a days that its used for all kind of common dilogues.

I truly agree with the above message that falling at another man's feet and worshipping him is SIN. But a purna Guru is not merely a man. He is not just a Human Body but he is that divine satta who shows us the path towards God. Even the Bible says that God is within us in form of a divine light. We all can see God but only by the grace of a purna guru. Please read my message above.

Hinduism also tell us about Gurus. There were no such people who became great without following there gurus. And this is not the matter of religion. Every religion teach us about having a Satguru. For eg Vivekanand was able to spread his thoughts by the grace of his guru Swami Rama Krishna Paramhansa. Every time we read about him we know that Vivekananda was in search of God. Then why he couldn't get it by himself. He was able to see God by the only grace of his Guru. Once again I want to tell Guru is not merely a human being. He is between human and Parmatma. The same was said by Lord Krishna in Bhagwat Gita.
Bulleshah was not Hindu but he made his guru his life. He prayed him by the depth of his heart. A Guru is not a person who just give us knowledge verbaly but but proves it practically.

Guru Purnima
by S.S. Ramakrishnan , an abhyasi and prefect in Sahaj Marg.
"The Real Guru has no name and form", said Master's Master to my Master! Yet He taught that that the Real Guru is inside one's own heart , God is inside the Heart ,which is the secret of Spirituality taught by ancient Sages, forgotten by us today.MOST IMPORTANTLY, HE taught and showed the way to find that God and Guru, over the last so many years to me. This He did by CLEANING my HEART and removing the sanskaras(karmic impressions) and transmitting HIS SPIRITUAL ENERGY or Life Force- He called it PRANA-AHUTHI. This was in existence during ancient days and was used by Rishis, and Saints long ago,but disappeared from India, which was the origin of This Science of Yogic Transmission.Today Shri Ram Chandraji of Shahjahanpur, (Babuji Maharaj)and His Master Shri Ram Chandraji of Fatehgarh,UP,(Lalaji) revived that Great Art and Scienc; Babuji Maharaj established a Mission called Shri Ram Chandra Mission in His Master's name, and nominated His worthy Representative,Shri Parthadarathi Rajagopalachari (Chariji) to succeed Himself as President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission. The Master is already training His Successor and Representative , Shri Ajay Bhatter ji of Kolkata , to take over the Work of Training the preceptor and abhyasis after His lifetime. In this way, the Succession of Masters is assured for all generations to come ,as per the Prayers of the Great Masters.

There is also a Foundation called Sa
