It causes numbness a lot before it causes impotence. ALSO THE ARTICLE SAYS THAT IT INCREASES THE RISK OF IMPOTENCE DUE TO NERVE DAMAGE WHICH IS PRECEEDED BY PAIN. If you feel pain and you continue like an idiot you deserve all you get. Also, considering our population THE MORE THE IMPOTENCE THE BETTER !!!

You silly Sheikh, all you can think of is procreating and reproducing....I guess its not you but its your book thats making you all think like this !!!..
If we seriously dont think of environment friendly measures, the whole world will go potent.. do you realize that ???

tell me, have you typed in google what i said, dont be cheap and end eveything on religion, sick mind whoever you are.
Don't worry, one day OPEC nations will force us to use cycles is such trend of fuel hike continues. Why govt. is not hiking Exise Duty and Sales ta abnormally as being done in case in case of Alcohalic drinks and cigarattes as big Cars are more of passion and less of need.Other way is not to give subsidy of petrol to big Cars.
It is nice to kow that Cycling to work is an Good and better NON POLLUTING option.
Isnt it time city planners think of building cities with offices from ground to 2nd floor and residence upwards onwards. Somewhat like SPECIAL RESIDENTIAL ZONE. I hope this will alltogether curtail travelling.
BTW the cycles quoted are above 14,000 which is too high compared to Indians avg salary. Isnt it time economical cycles like Atlas, Hercules etc. modified propogated.
Instead of subsidising petro products if the Govt subsidises cycles i hope cycle utilisation will be on the 4th Gear.

the thing is it isnt built that way cos no one prefers flats in buildings on the main road where offices must be located.
It is not the physical exertion, but the sweat and dirt at the end of the ride which puts off people from cycling to work. If we had the luxury of showering in the office and a place to change clothes, many would actually be willing to use cycles to the office. Barring the people working in high profile companies, the ordinary middle class Indians don't have much options.

Couldn't agree more; that's exactly the problem I face, plus, how to carry my briefcase and lunch box! That's why, so far my cycling is restricted to evening use to go to the shops or run other errands.
I tried cycling to work for a few days...maybe its ok for a few months in the winters...but summers in delhi are horrible..y the time i reached office, i was swaeting like pig...i cudnt even think of getting on my cycle again... Bangalore weather is far more conducive to cycling...so its ok there to cycle to office...but most other cities in india dont have the luxury of such great weather...

you are right about the bangalore weather but the traffic is so bad that you cannot ride a cycle. they should make a separate lane marking and should enforce it.
This is a great motivation for me. I live in Helsinki, Finland where we have 7 months winter. I started biking to work last week. I feel like luxury here because we have a separate and wide lanes for bicycle throughout the city. Ofcourse, I save the money spent on bus pass, but being eco friendly and exercise is a bigger motivation than money for me.
