How the hell did you get an admission in UK with that atrocious English of yours? It really shows that Overseas Education is just a business. Atleast you are correct on that count. No wonder people like you with that level on English end up on foreign shores. And MBA at that too. WOW!. Is the university a Patel University??
I did my Masters in Berlin. It was a great international experience. Their system of education is so different, they train you to perform on the stage, rather than just giving lessons on how the stage is made and what is required to be there. It's also true that to be in one of the best institutions in India it takes in a lot of hard work and even after various slogging sessions of tutorials at 4 am you might not get a seat. Such failures can even ruin your self confidence. Initially I found it very difficult to cope the German, Chinese, or latin American standards as these student are too close to perfection , what they have learnt as a child is like a permanent memory within them, unlike us where we write exams byhearting text books and finally remember hardly anythin we read in our lives. Their writing skills, analytical knowledge is sharpened since a kid by giving practical tasks. The bottom line is ..getting this kind of experience back home will truely proove beneficial not just for you but also the company who hires you. Trust me they can note the difference if you are trained here..

hi arunita.... m lukn for good universities in europe to do masters....would like to gain some knowledge from you... my id is aman15kandhari@rediffmail.com pls respond take care
Reservations in India are so high that it is virtually impossible for even good students to get admission in a decent institution. Choices are out of the question . So there is no option but to go abroad for furthur studies. If one does not belong to the priviledged class of reserved students there is no way one can get admission because not everyone can score 99% especially in X and XII CLASS

Even I feel I am the last generation of Indian engineers who have studied from Indian institutes and landed up great jobs in Indian companies on the basis of merit alone.
I am presently studying in UK.I feel it is worth pursuing a degree abroad. The entire education system here is focussed on case study and application based whereas in india it is more focussed on theory and exams.Well the industry needs application knowledge.
But money is a big question. So i feel it is good to pursue masters degree abroad rather than under graduation.Masters also need to be done after having atleast 2-3 years of professional experience. It will increase the chance of getting a job abroad and you can afford to pay back the money you have invested. But i feel it is worth the bet.
There is many people compete for the prestigious institutes here where as It is still no competition in many foreign soil. Afterall you need to fill your stomach and live peacefully. Which is vanishing in India.. Everything is tension! Tension! TENSION!!!
The foreign universities prepare us for a global experience. Nowadays reputed Indian universities also are able to offer it. As such it is only worth going abroad if you get admission to a world class university along with scholarship.
I studied in a College in Malaysia. Personally for me the choice to study abroad depends from one individual to another. A lot of people in India believe that studying abroad is a ticket to a good career. But from observation its not. Most of the students studying with me went back to their country because getting a job is not easy. The important factor is how motivated you are about studying and learning abroad. It is challenging because you are surrounded by different people and there are strong cultural/language barriers. So you learn a lot.
But the good thing is that you get a lot of exposure. If a person wants to work abroad, I feel its easier to get a job because you get to show your talents to the industry. Currently I am working in China. I dont think it would have been possible for me to get this job if I had completed my studies in India. Its not because of the educational standard or anything. Its just because that when you are abroad you come across more job opportunities in foreign countries.
The universities here have their strong points especially in higher education and research which requires lots of funding that is not available in india. While education upto the undergraduate level is quite good ,the scope of further development after that is severly limited.I am here(Australian national University) for a summer internship totally funded by my professor. The facilities for research are many times better than IITs(where i study); thats because they get such huge funding that you can easily pay for 20 students in india for the funding of a single Phd/Postdoc/Project grant here. Besides having studied in a very competetive enviornment the pressure on indian students shall be non existent. The interaction is also very informal unlike in india, and you can talk to your professor about anything from your girlfriend to last years' nobel leaurates' work. The standard of indian students is also generally very high, and my professor is so impressed ,he seems to have suddenly seen some light and is determined to recruit only indian students in the future.
studying here is very easy compared to india its like an kids job m doing masters and no pressure on me...... have finished ma bachlers from good university in india so far i consider studying in india is good and jobs depend how u present yourself thats it
