Why women should work?
by BABLU on Jun 21, 2007 04:19 PM  Permalink

Work is worship. Does this proverb still apllicable for women? The woman, this word has different connotations. Better utter the word 'GIRLS'. Think of girls. Women are meant to be weak stature.. respectable characters, makers of family. When they come for work, it means they are forcred by some inevitable circumstances. But whe the question of equal status arises, we rather put emphasis to girls.. and so far as gorls are concerned, they are better sensitive and clever.. they know how to achieve goals by hook or by crook, taking the mans weakness into consideration. They deal better than man. So the great thinkers, please dont think so much of them, rather enjoy their game.

sexual harassment
by on Jun 21, 2007 02:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There is no such thing called sexual harassment. In this day of competition and opportunities its the females who resort to it for higher promotions and growth. They even go to an extent of soliciting sexual advances of peers and go to an extent of sleeping with everyone on the office floor. Once the desired objective is achieved they complain of sexual harassment. Any sexual harassment cases reported should be investigated for history. In many a positions women gets faster promotions then men because of this.

I agree with you, its all the matter need and how to accomplish that. When it's required it's called pleasure or satisfaction and when it's not it's called harassment.... ah World is gone mad everyone should be blamed one who complaints and one who complained by other.

Such cases do exists. But lets not generalize it. Some ppl misuse their position and power too. Therefore, harashment cases should be impartially and thoroughly investigated.

i belive the person is right , for most of the cases we should check the history of gals, who report this and the person involved should also be checked by having feedbacks from the previous employers or colleagues.

What i have seen in many cases gals themselves go to extra mile to have favours from certian people and once they get those they compalin or when they fail to get their request favoured they compalin of these type of things .
so instead of putting balme on male community i belive both the person should be judged because male memebers never go ahead with the things until and unless they are being lured by females members
. gals talk dirtyu and double meanings talks and when they are stuck at somepoint they complain of harrasment

IF organisations are responsible to take adequate measures , the women should follow some guidelines (reg :dressing and behaviour) given by organisation.

A PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE IS A MUST IN ANY PROFESSION. THERE ARE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN TOO WHO DO A RESPECTABLE JOB AND WOULD NOT BE HARASSED. BEHAVIOUR OF A PERSON IS SOMETIMES RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RETURN. THIS IS EQUALLY APPPLICABLE FOR MEN ALSO.

Why is office harassment related only to women? Isn't it that even males face sexual harrasment from their female counterparts?

RE:How about Man ?
by Dhananjay Kumar on Jun 21, 2007 06:07 PM  Permalink
Very true. Sexual harassment is there (and had been there for ages) for Men also, that too both at workplace and home (and any other possible places where both spend time together). Isn't it a harassment if women make men un-comfortable by puting on un-ethical or skinny dresses at workplace or public places. Now, all you women there, please don't tell that men should not be uncomfortable for this. Its something which is given by nature and you very well know what "uncomfort" I am talking about. Isn't it a harassment to a man, if his woman colleague gets the promotion and better opportunities, even when all she has done is dressing well and give that 10000 watts smile and gestures to her boss and seniors (of course sometimes to poor colleague when she need his help). Women are not those holy charaters of a society any more. I would like to give an example of a real time incident in my career. There was this group of ladies who kept chatting and gossiping most of the time in some corner of office. Poor manager (male) was unable to control them (he must be scared of being accused of sexual harassment by 3-4 ladies). Then he was replaced by a lady manager from west. This lady came hard on them (need no explanation). What happened next was these ladies teamed up with the HR team (another team of bandit queens, present in all companies), and made this lady manager to resign. What "harassment" should this be called?

At home, ladies (not doing any outside job), refuse to do household works and ask men (and other old women) to do their things by own. What kind of harassment should this be called? In fact, these educated ladies are employing children to get the household works done. what about that? If you do a survey in metros, at most of these upper and middle upper families, one will find child and poor people working like slaves (literally). These poor people are made to work even when they are ill, and this educated class of women will not work as they don't feel well because they partied hard last night. The irony is that these women will cry all sort of principle about "equality with men" , "child labor" etc etc. At home all they do is watch serials of Fekta Kapoor. All they care about is their husband must bring home a good salary so that they can go to all sort of fun worlds and shop till they drop, but they never care about their husband health or food. What should this harassment be called? I am asking to all you such ladies out there, who think all sort of wrong things happen only to women........reply...
