If the Employee joins the Compnay in August 2007, is he eligible for claiming the medical reimbursement for the period April to July 2007 in the new company.

no he is not eligible for the same,it would be counted from the day of his/her join.

Is relocation expenses be claimed for relocation on account of a new job?

Is the exemption on relocation allowance under section 10(4) available only for relocating on account of transfer within the same organisation or can it also be claimed on relocation allowance granted to meet the expenses for relocating on account of a job with a different organisation? Please advise.
Suppose a person on the verge of retirement purchase NSC which will mature after retirement then what is the logic behind paying tax before? Because when he will get money in hand he is retired and his income that time is below taxable limit. Do not have money in hand and pay tax on it - wonderful logic applied.
