Not withstanding the envious ambience of all contemporary colleagues, the entry provided me enough scope to develop myself as an accommodative Individual & to live in others shoes to gauge their privileges & aspirations, so as to see & act as a RESPONSIBLE CO-BEING in all circumstances.

First Job
by Sai Narayan on Oct 20, 2006 12:02 PM  Permalink

My first job was a wonderful learning experience. My boss was an extremely tough taskmaster and he used to be very critical of me. But I learnt a lot from him and really developed from a student into a professional.

I have been working for the last 10 years and I still remember those days and what it taught me.

This article has valid points - the basics never change, do they ?

As for someone's point on BPO not being a career, I don't think thats fair at all. Maybe those guys and gals might one day open a BPO outfit of their own after learning the ropes ?

Hi! This article is very good for first timer. I feel that in similar situation i worked for my first 6 months. Even today many tips suggested in this article is valuable & i like to apply this in my work situation. The biggest realisation for me is how & why politics exist at work place & how to deal with it.

Accept my well wish for this articles & i hope many more articles like this will be posted in near future.
