Water
by Jayanthi on Jun 01, 2006 01:13 PM  Permalink

I make sure to drink atleast 3 litres of water a day. I start my day with a glass of water or two. After which I have my coffee. I have practiced this by reading articles about health and nutrition from various sources. It has sure helped me in helping my skin glow. The dryness in the skin that I used to feel during either winter or any other season has reduced a lot. I am very comfortable with my skin now. I keep myself energetic with my intake of water. There is sure no liquid or no drink that can take the place of WATER.

Drinking water good for health
by Pardeep sharma on May 31, 2006 05:27 PM  Permalink

Rightly said that we must drink 8-10 Glasses of water. I generally drink 5-6 Litrs of water in a day.
The best way to drink lot of water is eat less than your appitite e.g you take 3 chappatis, take only 2 but with extra Vegetables or Daals. Then after 30-45 minutes you start drinking water every 15-20 Minutes. This way you can drink 2-2.5 Ltr water in between every Meal amounting to 4-6 Ltrs a day. As above eating less Wheat and Lots of vegetables will also help you in getting better nutrients.

by NILADRI CHAKRABORTY on May 31, 2006 05:23 PM  Permalink

We know drinking water is very much essential for our health purpose. But unfortunately, knowing about this matter we are not serious about this fact.Tell us something about how to manage drink water time to time on present 'get-set-go' culture. Not to drink water timely, but the quality of drinking water is also very important. Since it causes many diseases and other human troubles. On the spot, instantly how we can measure that drinking water is good for our health.

AMOUNT OF WANTER INTAKE PER DAY
by RAVI N.S. on May 31, 2006 05:02 PM  Permalink

Sir,

Your article on consumption of water was very educative. At sn average I consume 6 to 8 glasses of water per day in addition to a daily intake of 4 to 5 cups of tea/coffee. I make it a point to keep handy a bottle of water aside my table even in my busy office schedule.

I have a small doubt which I would like to get cleared. Is there any problem if the intake of water is increased? I mean will it make my kidney work extra and thereby weaken its functioning at a later stage? Please advise..

Thanks & Regards,
RAVI
