Let me go through the things the author has said. He summarises by saying everyday is a loveable and being loved day. We shouldn't limit expression of love only to V-day. Right, I fully agree with that. Let's take the example of God, the ultimate of all. We have so many festivals every month, every week and sometimes every day.
If we have to think rationally, it is more than rationale to worship god everyday than celebrating so many festivals. When it comes to expressing love, which is in itself a God's greatest gift of all , we should have a gainsay. Loving everyday is fully agreed, no discrepancies at all, but dedicating a day to 'LOVE' is greater.
I completely agree with the author. the last sentence says it all. Let each day be valentines day in your life.Dont limit love to just one day and to a card and a dinner.

valentine's day is just a pagan roman celebration of sex called lupercalia when young males could choose a girl for a day by taking their names out from an urn, which has been propitiated by the catholic church and then the chocolate industry for their own interests. it has got nothing to do with 'love' .
Sir, well-written article. I liked the expression "So, after giving my reason for living a not-so-quiet burial, I joined the mush factory"!
But saying V-day is a menace comes across as slightly cynical. V-day, in my opinion, is a perfect opportunity to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. And I think this can certainly be done without the gushing and mushing! A simple hug and three magic words "I love You". If u do this everyday, nothing like it. Else, you always have a V-day to do it!
