I am IT professional with exp. it various IT support activities like H/w, S/w, Network, Os, Desktop, Helpdsk, customer support and maintenance. for nearly 7 years. with a background of software development exp.
I am looking for job in Call Centre / BPO. because they are well paid. Will I fit there? Call centres never consider our prior exp. & hence they me as a fresher. How do I negotiate this matter & convince them to pay more.
i am in the completion of mca degree. progeon is conducting campus interview in our college . is it suitable for mca candidates ? whether mca candidates cna enter into BPO ? and what they will expecct from us ?
Hi I would not give a BPO job To A software Profeesional who is a head of Software development company but i would certainly give the opportunity for a person with "RIGHT ATTITUDE"
I am a web-designer having four years of IT experience. Now i want to divert my career to BPO industry. but they say i have some accent problem. Could you pls. refer me some good institute proving especially call-centre based training?
I am actually working in a technical support center. It has been more than 2yrs and I am in a good position now compared to the start but right from the beginning I was confused about the progress in a software industry with a call center. I always ask myself "Am I in the right industry, Will I earn more if I would have worked in a software industry. How do you rate a software industry with a call center. There is always an answer saying "It depends on our own interest". But I have desire for both the industry. Since I am interested in both the industry next question comes to my mind is the pay. What do you say ?

Hi I am facing a similar situation as yours and am so confused what to do. I am a software engineer and have been working as Technical support engineer since 1 year. Now I have quit the job and am looking for a new job. But I don't know whether to continue or switch over to develpoment. What did you decide ? Did you move into development ? Does software development pay more in terms of compensation than BPO?
