CrossOver to BPO

My Name VC Rehman, I am working in a manufacturing company of repute. I am a Post Graduate in two disciplines - Administration & Management, and qualified with PGDCA in computers, now doing my MBA. I have a professional experience of more than Twelve years in General Administration and confident to handle versatile functional resposibililties. What is the likelihood and career prospects if I wish to enter BPO industry ?

Growth in call centers

Hi,
Well ive been working with the call centre industry since quite some time and it is sadly observed that growth happens to the few who do chamchagiri.Honesty doesnt pay neither does hard work.Any comments?
Ive friends who are with bpos since 2-3 years still stuck as agents taking calls are those managers or team leaders sleeping?

Crossover to BPO

The counselling being provided is useless. The response to all questions is that you ought to have command over the English language. I believe her understanding of the BPO industry is limited to voice based BPOs. There are BPO organisations involved in a lot of work such as outsourced HR activity etc where functional expertise is of prime importance and command of the language is just an added advantage, which is the case with every line of work and not just the BPO industry.
