The problem of proper Management is more in captive BPO's. In our case the problem is more acute. we have people who do not know proper english who are in asst managers. They cannot talk English without a neutral accent.
A contract is pronounced "Contraaaaaact", expect is pronounced as "Expaaaaaaact", operations is referred to as "Dhanda"!!!!!. Middle management is playing with the careers of youth who are in the initial phase of their careers by giving a negative image of what leadership is.
No body ever discusses the oppurtunities available for 40/50+ professionals in BPO industry. In todays scenario there is a huge pool of educated, experienced people who haveeither took VRS or not happy with their present employer and looking forward for new jobs. Can any body throw some light on the job prospect of these talented human bank in the IRES industries
I always think of onething with relation with BPO's where the work will be very boring after 3 or 4 months. Sometimes it also happens that the process will be soo boring that people wouldnt prefer to work more than 6 months. This is 1 of the major reason for high atriation rate in BPO>
