Steve Bucknor has been made the scape goat in this whole issue...The issue was not wholly about wrong deceisions by Bucknor... Infact it was about the Aussie cheats. Steve Bucknor was chosen for this sereis by Cricket Australia bcos of the fact about his history of controversy with Indians in the past, even if Steve Bucknor had given all his deceisions correct there was another australian umpire with instructions (to cheat) from Cricket Australia at the other end, it so happened in this match that Steve had a forgaettable match & the other australian umpire also cheated (as instructed) the cummulative effect was so many wrong deceisions against indians. Now dickie Bird has been roped in by the Australians(whites commraderie)..to get the focus away from Australians & on Steve No mention can be found of the Australian umpire who infact gave more wrong deceisions than Steve Bucknor, he is been taken out of the picture and he will then continue in international cricket giving deceisions in favor of the aussies, till he will be implicated one day and thrown out(after a decade maybe).. remember another aussie umpire Darryl Hair who was banned from umpiring after serving Cricket Australia for more than a decade.

What Sunil Bucknor is made scapegoat other wise he is a 'Saint' ? Lets give him Mother Thresssa award. He is part of the sour relations between Aussies and Indai Infact more than Symond!!! He is going senile Eyes fail to see and ears deaf !! Needs urgent retirement
The Sydney Morning Herald ran an editorial saying that it could sense the bad aura around the Australian team. %u201CApparently it%u2019s fine for Australian players to question the masculinity of opposing players, the legitimacy of their birth, or the faithfulness of their wives, and for those who played in apartheid-era South Africa not to feel any embarrassment, but now Australia goes to the cricket court at the drop of a racist jibe,%u201D it says.
Australia%u2019s rebuilding process coincided with other teams realising that this was the right time to do the catching up. In turn, it has fuelled the current Australian team%u2019s desperation to keep winning. The first time the %u2018spirit of the game%u2019 was put to test in Sydney was when Harbhajan Singh and Sachin Tendulkar were leading an Indian revival which threatened their domination in the game, and it happened in the dying hours of the match as the Indians were fighting hard to stop the 16th consecutive win.

pakistan and gentlemen ? lols. buddy, everyone from sub continent is more or less the same. you have youhana, and few other blokes who are decent. then on the ugly side yu have afridi, sohail, shaoib to compensate!
Ten 10 years down the line, When Ricky Ponting will look back at his feat of 16 consecutive win, he would realise his grave mistake and will wish if he could have won Sydney match fairly. It takes yaers of hard work, skill and luck to go on the top but only a moment, here a match to bring the team to the ground. I predict, this as the beginning of downfall of australian cricket because when australia start playing fairly, they will be beaten quite often by their opponent.

I guess you are right..I always belived that Ricky Ponting is some one (other two are hayden and Kallis) who will score more hundreds than Sachin coz of his immense talent. NOW THAT HIS ACTS ARE QUESTIONABLE AND NOT TRUSTWORTHY..I guess it would be difficult for him to do..
Indians are not considered equal by the general Australian public (the ones who have never stepped outside their country to places like ours). Most kids end up thinking about India as a backward place full of salesmen or domestic maids, they actually believe we are their servants. I have seen aussie kids kick indians kids and yell with laughter while their aussie moms dont even bat an eyelid. The poor Indian kids do not hit back or even if they did, their parents dont allow that. These aussie kids go on to their adult life enriching themselves on these experiences. There is a definite touch of racism about how they deal with you. Mind you, the words may not be racist but their actions are. If you have ever had a chance to go out and work for an extended period on foreign shores, you will notice that you have to work your ass off and earn their grudging respect before they consider you their equal, even if you are better than them in their job. Gandhian values are good against them provided you are ready to face extreme difficulties and are extremely unselfish. You might finally get them around to see them your point of view by the time 60 years old. or you can get your kid to fight fire with fire and earn that respect / superiority / self esteem (call it what you will). The Indian team is facing this situation right now. Either they can lodge protest and fight till the end or give way to diplomacy which allows one team to go away with murder. It may just be a game for general

It may just be a game for general public, but it can be another experience which shapes how we and others look at us.

It is the inferiority complex within a person which makes him behave like that. Indians are superior race but leg behind in games but we hope things will brighten in future.
Its all diplomacy. You know how much respect Kumble must have left with him for Ponting. Just convey this guy to place his fingure safe with himself at most appropriate place.
