The Australians have been returned in the same coin. The treatment they used to give to other world teams has been met to them. Morals/Lessons - They should stop i) putting undue pressure on the refrees and ii) demoralling opposite teams by filthy tactics..OP
So long as the Match Referee (Mr. Mike Proctor) and the Australians (players and CA officials0 feel that they are right in whatever they have done, I, for one, feel that the "Cool - Off" is just a farce and, therefore, an exercise in futility. What the sport needs, I feel, is good players (Gentlemen, real GENTLEMEN) and Umpires and referees with straight spines who would not be afraid to give unbiased decisions without caring for the reputation of the teams/players and in the best interest of the game. The best way to assess the character/ability of umpires, perhaps, is to make them officiate when their nation is playing against another one. Since some of the so called neutral umpires have shown a tendancy to be partial, this system may be gradually abolished. Let us all pray that the game wins and it is played the way it is expected to be played by all concerned. to

I agree with you Radhakrishnan, however, it is not with the intention to not mar the reputation of teams/players this bias creeps in - but let us face it - for more than the memory line would run to, there has been an inherent bias in treatment of players from the sub-continent vis-a-vis those from others. It is this inherent "racial" approach to the game by its administrators which has led to this - but thanks to the present financial soundness of the governing bodies in the sub-continent - atleast we can raise our voices to be heard if not listnened to, as yet. Let us hope things would change in all its fairness of the game, as it happens in other walks wherein competitiveness is the essence of success.
Always the correction needed for any kind of misunderstanding is being sportive.So lets play the game with its own charm.Time will erase the bitterness.

As a first step aussies should withdraw the complaint against Harbhajan and Kumble could reciprocate by doing the same against Hogg.They must agrre to avoid all sledging and foulmouthing.Last they, specially Australians, should be more honest and sporting and display exemplary behaviour befitting a Champion Team for others to follow.They MUST shun the attitude of winning at all costs by "Hook or Crook" and avoid putting unneccessary pressure on the Umpires.The behaviour has to be gentlemanly and all provocations Must be avoided at all cost.
