PONTING HAS MADE US PROUD OF OUR CRICKETERS.. IF THIS IS HOW RESPECTABLY THE SO CALLED BEST TEAM BEHAVES LIKE..THEN CRICKET AS A SPORT HAS EARNED A BAD NAME.. AND ANIL KUMBLE AND TEAM WE ARE PROUD OF YOU OF BEING SO GENTLEMANLY IN UR BEHAVIOUR.. THREE CHEERS TO U GUYS!!!!!!! THE WHOLE OF INDIA IS WITH U
IT'S VERY SHAME FIRST FOR BUKNOR AND SECOND RICKY PONTING.WE DON'T WANT LIKE THIS CRICKET.SHOULD BE SPORTING MINDED. BUKNOR AND RICKY PONTING SHOULD RESIGN.

u shut up. no cricket team has the guts to beat india. why should aussie retire. the indian team should retire instead of finding reason for their failures and go ahead with modelling where they perform professionaly

Agree to Gurudutt's comments.... Ponting should be telling this story (that he wants to be the respected 'captain' and the team as 'respected team') to his team mates who are as arrogant as he is... so that they start behaving like respectfully... in a "Give respect, Take respect" attitude.... and not simply talk about it ... actions speak louder than words Mr.Ponting.....

Hey come on man.. its doesn;t look nice for an Indian to speak like this.. control your words..
I propose Indian team and Australian Team should sit together, and India should propose that Australian team can'nt utter three words 'F**K, Bloody and Bustard' and on the other hand Australia should propose three words which Indian team will not utter. I strongly feel Australia will Quit cricket after that.
BCCI has not taken the matter seriously. Pawar,arun Jaitley & Rajiv Shukla are all politicians first. Pawar and Jaitley being seasoned ones and Shukla the joker in the pack. They are not prepared to hit hard - something which would have been a reality had dalmiya & Bindra been together. Pawar & Co are stillplaying with the reputation of Harbhajan and others to meet their personal ends. They should pick up the courage and recall the team. That will be a slap on the faces of the likes of Clive Lloyd, Mcgrath, Nasseir Hussain, James Sutherland, Bucknor, Benson, Speed and the likes.

Indians, who can't even win properly with Australia are using the Sydney match as an excuse to demand that Ponting quit. The real reason why they want Ricky to go away is because they are afraid of Ricky whose team regularly gives Team India a sound thrashing.

A long time ago, when England found that their jails could not hold the increased number of criminals, they found the easiest way out, by shipping all these guys to Australia. So basically the Australians are the descandents of the jailbirds that England didnt want to have in its own land. So it is not a wonder that Aussies behave the way they do.
Let us pray to GOD to cure them of their illness and teach them how to behave on a cricket field at least.

simon i understand the passion with which u have said such words..but being a fellow indian i urge u not to say such words about them..its not in our culture..every1 knows who the culprits are..we dont have tp prove it..but i think they dont have the courage to admit their faults..they jus want to win by hook or by crook.. ponting wanted to level his record with steve..and he has done it..very unfairly though..and we are at the receiving end..but they should get a taste of what we indians are like HONEST and STOIC but we will ROAR BACK..jus wait and watch out all u kangaroos..the tigers are coming to catch ya!!!
