good point panickar
by raj on Jan 08, 2008 11:57 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

i find it preposterous of the notion that bhajji should not be let away. okay, i'd say bhajji deserve what he got IF HE SAID that. in the absence of any conclusive proof, like the lehmann episode, why is bhajji crucified for no reason.

also ricky ponting should be penalised for 5 matches like the bangla cricketer for falsely claiming a catch, nevermind that it wasnt out. thing is ponting's ready to claim anything under the guise of uncertainty. so was the bangla cricketer any different ? was larke any different ? clarke was a liar too. besides both of them and also gilchrist - all of them knew what was happening, but when yu have an mpire nodding at everything... yu are only gleefully doing it. i dont mind taking ths debate to its logical end. bcci should call of the tour, its not a threat or a blackmail its about wrong being done to bhajji plain and simple, by a team full of liars (who can lie without blinking in front of tv AND abuse a journalist) and non-sportsmen

REVOCATION OF BAN AND NOT SUSPENSION....THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

Bucknor Removed - Hope not a part of settlement!
by bharat on Jan 08, 2008 11:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bucknor has been removed from the 3rd test. Malcolm Speed has said that this has been done to remove some of the tension from the current situation.

India should not accept this explanation. BCCI should make ICC admit that Bucknor has been removed because he is incompetent and not as a move to appease India as indicated by Malcolm Speed's statement. India should continue to fight and get Bucknor removed from the ICC panel.

Secondly, I hope removal of Bucknor is not a settlement between ICC and BCCI. - ICC agreeing to remive Bucknor and in return BCCI agreeing to cool down on the Bhajji issue!

i am afraid that BCCI does not have enough balls to call-off the tour. i wish, dalmiya should have been the BCCI president in this moment.

Along with your previous article, try to send this also to global media, otherwise no point if only indians read this and "feel good". IT NEEDS WIDER COVERAGE.

Amazing...By Kovil
by Kovil Nimje on Jan 08, 2008 11:56 AM  Permalink

Show this to the ICC and Mike proctor for why he shouldnt be believing in Aussies... No one was close enough to listen.. On top of it Ponting should be banned for claiming the catch that wasnt clean in first place, for bringing indignity to the game, similar to what Rashid latif got from none other than the same Mike Proctor.
