Great stuff Prem. It really is very sad to see the way things have unfolded. The banning of Bhajji is like adding salt to injury. India should definately not budge from their stand - it should stand by its players after all it is a matter of national pride and nobody should have the pleasure for taking us for granted. When the Aussies do it - it is agression when we do it - it becomes racism. And when we stand up against it - we are manipulationg - What a farce ?? Great reading your article - thoroughly enjoyed it.
In his attempt to defend Harbhajan, this guy gone to the extent of portraying Dravidians as Monkeys. Who resemble the monkey most? Aryans or Dravidians? He talks about Indian justice system. Do people get compensation here for his portrayal of things?
He vomits a lot but no substance Mr Panickar. I am surprised to hear you are a leading Indian Cricket journalist or blogger.

You are absolutely correct. I am trying to point out that Panicker's logic is flawed and my messages are getting flagged for abuse.

DURBAN (Reuters) - West Indies manager Clive Lloyd and South Africa coach Mickey Arthur have criticised the decision to remove umpire Steve Bucknor for the third test between Australia and India.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) axed Bucknor in favour of New Zealand's Billy Bowden for next week's match in Perth after India demanded the 61-year-old West Indian be stood down following a series of blunders in the second test in Sydney.
"That's just silly, you can't do that," former ICC match referee Lloyd told a news conference on Tuesday. "Does that mean when anybody says they don't want a particular umpire we're going to move them?
"The ICC is wrong...it's a bad decision. What happens if a couple of other umpires make a mistake? Are they going to get rid of all of them? I find it very strange."
Arthur echoed the views of former West Indies captain Lloyd.
"If we don't like a particular umpire can we also have him removed?," said Arthur.
"They have set a precedent and I don't know if it's a particularly good one. It looks a bit of a mess."
The third test between South Africa and West Indies in Durban starts on Thursday.
One more example of the Cricket world been divided and the how ICC and Aussies are using our money to run the empire..No more..Stop signing tainted aussies players for ICL/IPL league, now advertisement for them..and no more guest is god when they come to india...and if they make noise on our pitches just ban them from the series..
In the current scenario i wish to point out my frustration (while watching the game on TV) with what was going on towards the end on the Indian 1st innings. For atleast 5 overs Sachin was taking a single off the 1st ball & then watched at the other end the tail taking on the remainder of the overs. If only he had farmed the strike for those overs, like any other well-set top order batsmen normally does, India wouldn't have lost the test. Atleast you have mentioned this in passing, but why doesn't anyone point this out to Tendulkar that he has a job to do for the team, not just himself. He failed badly, despite his 154*.

I completely disagree, Tendulkar was showing confidence in his partner, be it Harbhajan, RP or Ishant, he did not hesitate to give them strike at all, and in this way motivated them to play good cricket. Watch the match closely, he was continuously talking to them and telling them how to play. The ausies wanted Tendulkar to hit and get out, which he was not doing ! whereas they expected the tail ender to take a single and go to the other end, like you mentioned others would have done, but. He did not want to bat like they wanted ! India had their own gameplan thats it ! Apart from the initial deliveries he faced Harbhajan played all cricketing shots like a top order batsman, so did Ishant, so do you want to say they should never play and get out hitting foolish shots or just try to get away from the strike ??? Ridiculous... If Indian cricket is trying to improve, is it not good ?

Sydney crowd gave him standing ovation. Enough boss why not yuvraj or dhoni scored runs or gave him a partnership. After missing out 8 centuries, finally he scored a century. He wanted to score 150. More he score, more advantage for india only.
This is a petition written by a cricket fan Sundar Mahadevan to call back our indian team after the humiliation they have faced in australia from being called racists to literally having lost a match to the two umpires. We are a proud nation and will not take this lying down.
