I completely disagree, Tendulkar was showing confidence in his partner, be it Harbhajan, RP or Ishant, he did not hesitate to give them strike at all, and in this way motivated them to play good cricket. Watch the match closely, he was continuously talking to them and telling them how to play. The ausies wanted Tendulkar to hit and get out, which he was not doing ! whereas they expected the tail ender to take a single and go to the other end, like you mentioned others would have done, but. He did not want to bat like they wanted ! India had their own gameplan thats it ! Apart from the initial deliveries he faced Harbhajan played all cricketing shots like a top order batsman, so did Ishant, so do you want to say they should never play and get out hitting foolish shots or just try to get away from the strike ??? Ridiculous... If Indian cricket is trying to improve, is it not good ?
