It is indeed good news that selectors "defy" Mumbai lobby to make Dhoni to Captain india in ODIs. But, I fail to understand why only for 3 ODIs. Dhoni seems to have sufficient grey matter, quite calm, avid performer and a great star attraction. It is also needed to nurture and counsell him right now. The onus should be on Rahul, Sachin and Sourav to do that for future of India. Another Captain material may be Dinesh Kartik or Robin Utthapa. It is also nice to see that Agarkar is out. But one can give rohit sharma a chance. But, again there is no end to speculate. Good Luck "MAHI". Cheers to people of Ranchi.

For your kind information, mumbai lobby & selectors tried their best but Sachin himself denied captaincy of ODI so Dhoni got the chance as Sachin will be captain of test tean.

I don't know why bcci blindly decided to stand Dhoni for captain. I think ganguly was the better option than dhoni. Yubraj also. Let's see how much time dhoni will keep his performance.
The great india laughter challenger - 4 is about to begin with Dhoni being named the captain. BCCI should be renamed as Board of Confused Criketers of India. I think we should make a comic movie on BCCI and send it to oscars. Cricket mein koi award mile na mile kam se kam ek oscar award to mil hi jaega.

rohit sharma is dropped after not playing a single match. manoj tiwary was selected in the team for bangladesh, now he is not there anymore. why team a ??? why not the senior team. when will bcci stop dropping players who don't even get chance to show their skills ??
This shows BCCI is nothing but a political mud. Biggest joke is Dhoni as a captain. Looks like Vengsarkar has personal vendetta against Sehwag who has a good record against Aussies. Karthik is only good for test matches, he is neither useful in ODIs nor 20-20s. ICL is going to thrive more now... & It should for the benefit of hundreds of cricket talents all over India.

sehwag should never be chosen for any matches in future. we have good number of replacements for that spineless aging dog.
i have got a doubt how wld u judge a good captain whether by his runs or by his hair style or by his back ground or by his strenght or age any body please clarify

sala bcci members ko kya ho gaya, sourav ko kyon nahin captainship diya, dhoni kon khet ki muli hai, bunch of jokers and hopeless bcci members , idiot pawar.

I am also very much annoyed by the decision......But I am sure that the results against Australia will be against us and I expect it to 7-0,,,,,that too with the greatest humiliating defeats in ODI history..........
