Hey friends all the people who really know cricket or have played some time even for their local colony team know how blessed our generation is that we have seen such a gr8 batsman named Sachin Tendulkar playing. His Straight Drives, Cover Drives, Backfoot punches, Pull, flick of the wrist, Pedal Sweep(inventor of pedal sweep) awesome. His Sixes at Sharjah, his batting in WC 2003 against Shoaib Akhtar, the first batsman to have Tricolor flag on his Helmet,his Valiant effort at Chennai test against Pakistan, his 200 against aussies in Melbourne, his 152 agains Aussies in their own cuntry against McGrath, Warne n Gillespie n there are lots more he has inspired the whole generation. Even his botom hand grip which changed the batting style of present days youngsters Batsman like Sehwag, Dhoni, Yuvraj if u ask them who had inspired them n their batting they have only one answer. But from deep of my heart i want him to retire not cause he is playing bad or something he is still the best in the buisness but because he has become the fav punchbag of some of the people who dont know even the C of Cricket n in their own life are frustated n loosers. It really makes me sad n i think also to all genuine cricket lovers. If Sachin would have been from any other country then surely he would have been respected as Jewel of the country but i think this country has got more number of Loosers n frustated people.

Hi Amit. u see i was once a player of chennai districts. wat u say is corre4ct. lot of guys here who dont no the fundementals of cricket start to abuse him., if he fails in 2 or 3 matches. if they go on and see the statisttics of sachin , as far as heis play, 63% of his centuries has helped india win the test matches and 12% drawing it single handedly.and same with ODIs. CAn any1 here challenge this. As Amit said its not that THey wuld have kept him as jewel in their country. I wuld like 2 say V. richards said " Im ready 2 pay any amount and ready 2 travel anywere in the world 2 see sachin play. HAdlee said" I was lucky that i was not in Bradman's and sachin's period 2 bowl 2 them. Bradman said" Sachin plays like me" to his wife. John Howard(Aussie P.M Said" HAd sachin been born in our country We wuld have saved Him and kept like a world wonder in our Country". There r more guys. Use ur brain ,think before u speak or write something
What Sachin has done is perfectly right. Seniors are in consistent pressure to perform well and this is what sachin and Sourav has delivered also. Inspite of that,even a single failure raises questions on their existence in the team. If these guys captain India and then loose to Australia, which is a very likely possibility, all the blame shall fall upon them, and then they would not only be stripped off from the captaincy, but also thrown out of the team. Why are these guys always blamed for India's failure, although the team consists of 9 other players. Sachin is already put under a lot of pressure, which is infact more than a captaincy pressure which person like Dhoni/ Yuvi would have to face.

YES I DO AGREE, PLAYS FOR HIMSELF now a days and not for a country. Sachin knows another failure in ODI will make selector hard to justify his inclusion in the site as for the same reasons Dravid was dropped even been best of three ( sourav the 3rd ).
They are scare of juniors who has brought unity and team spirit back and this seniors only use to pull each others legs.
