I think the turning point was when OZ lost to England, thereby giving a last chance to england to meet them in the final. Had England lost the match to aus, it would have been a difficult situation for them (virtualy out of the competition). One more thing, if we see the matched between Aus and Nz, NZ lost most of the matches by narrow margin (May be Aus wants england in the final????).

Mr Khan unless Indians,Pakistanis,Bdeshi's,Sri Lankans etc support each other when palying against Aus,Eng,SA etc we wl never be able to beat them psychologically first which they r good at by divide & rule policy....Pls be together & lets all make it to the last four in World Cup.Cheers

in this case i m with aashish. up to a mark he is true. he doesnt know how to respect other persons.
they play well but they should understand that other persons who are sitting outside the stadium do have an eye on them irrespective of ICC not taking care of this and allowing them to do this.
ICC does not remark when they do it, and when others like India , Pak, Srilanka they are handed over with BANS.

Deep accepting Australia is a great team does not make you un patriotic in any way ,wats the connection here ,if they good they good ,they make cricket a treat to watch even when they trash other teams and Im sure they gonna be the 2007 world cup champs ,my money is on them like it was in the 2003 world cup where I won the bet despite so many people saying what yo saying now ,India will win for sure.

A good news for the english fans with england cruising into the triseries finals,but lot more needs to be done.The real problem with most of the teams has been their inconsistency over a period of time.On a given day they r on the top of the moon n come another day r crushed down the hill.Though a closely contested semifinal was seen at gabba wherein both english n black caps played well till the end and kept the pace on.England would need a more consistent and holistic approach in the finals especially from the top order against the kangaroos who more often than not have an excellent record in final tournaments.Though they r without one or more key players,still r a tough nut to crack.Be confident and put up a good show and we all hope to c an excellent end to this series and lets hope it goes up to the wire to the third final at adelaide.May the best team get the deserved returns.
I htink it was all a plan by australia to have the weaker team in the final. New zealand would have given them a run for their money as this was the only team of giving them a challenge as per recent matches Santu

But a really depleted and debilitated England managed to beat a Full-Strength NZ when it mattered. So no complaints here... I think even today, a fully fit English team is the second best in the World.
