I think the turning point was when OZ lost to England, thereby giving a last chance to england to meet them in the final. Had England lost the match to aus, it would have been a difficult situation for them (virtualy out of the competition). One more thing, if we see the matched between Aus and Nz, NZ lost most of the matches by narrow margin (May be Aus wants england in the final????).
