I thimk dravid is only a ordinary captain he does not know how to make changes especially in crunch situation. He dont know how to surprise the rival team by make sudden changes in the plan. He just go thru the plan drawn by the team management
One more thing i want to tell is about sachin tendulkar. He thinks that he is shouldering all the responsibilities of the team. I am accepting that he is a world class player but not a match winner. If india wants to win then ask sachin to play attacking cricket. Dont think that if sachin is out everything is over there are also other capable players.
One important thing is tell india team to play aggressively. For eg i saw the last match against australia. I think thay alrady decided that 250 is enough in that pitch but i will say they can easily score more than 280 in that pitch. So take decision depending upon the situation .
Hey guys, cut that crap and get on with life.... I think the biggest lesson for us all, is, "Life has more to it, than just the Indian cricket team" Cheers
Come on guys....thers hsould be some sense to argue...world beaters and this bunch ...don't even dream...they are good in everything except cricket... They are wasting time of millions of ppl..and still play casually....atleast cant they understand that they need to give a good fight because they are not 11 but 100 crores..and only then they will play well...i wish rahul & co all the best in there careers of Modelling and Acting. Keep Acting and ignoring ur ppl and country.
This problem can be solved by breakingit into several smaller problems, and tackle each one separately.I would categorise them as follows: 1. First 5 batting order;2. Hard hitters thereafter;3.Bowling strengths; 4. Fielding; 5. Runouts; 6. Etc.7. Have a good pool of about 24 players. Don\\\\\\\'t slam Greg Chappell: he is excellent. If our players do not perform, Chappell is not to blame. I would leave I would leave 1,3,4,6&7 to Greg and the team management. Re.2, our players need to learn to hit the ball hard, and send sixers . For this, one should follow Navjot Singh, and practise slamming at least 50+ sixers every day.5. This aspect is sadly neglected by our team. Here too, our players should practise this aspect every day for at last 1-2 hrs. aiming at one wicket first, and get at least 2 runouts in every match. Rest of aspects can be taken care of by Greg, Rahul , Sachin, etc. If we can follow the above as well as possible, we can make mince-meat of any opposing team - incl. Australia. But this will have to be conveyd to our Indian think-tank. Suresh
What we all need to do to inspire the Indian Cricket team and Cricket Board, is a small thing.
Adopt the Gandhigiri !!!!! Send flowers to Sachin, Rahul, Coach, Sharad Pawar, Dalmiya and all sundries, so they realise the importance of power of cricket crazy India and play to their potential. Truly Ghandian way...

You are Right kumar; and also a QUIT WELL card OR a QUIT CRICKET card to each one of these ailing mighty cricketers. The game now will do MUCH BETTER without their ADVERTISEMENTS.Only what you do today counts and nothing stinks more when you keep on snubbing millions of fans'support with a the devil may care attitude.
The men in Blue or as named for commercial purposes 'Team India' and not the 'Indian Team' clesrly lacks both Ps- professionalism and patriotism. Once these players get into the national team and taste the glamour and real money they forget their primary duty that is to toil hard and play. Losing does not pinch them bcoz they don't care enough for winning, neither they associate any sense of pride with the National colors they wear. The keenness to learn, improve and adapt to the conditions is not there. They call that v have the stronh batting lineup but actually India has a very fragile line-up of record makers (on flat indian pitches only) but bunnies when it comes to the crunch or playing on bowler friendly wickets (yes! they call it that even if there is only little movement and bounce).
Consider the quality of bowlers. I think anybody who can put the ball accross the 22 yard strip is called a bowler, for ex- our fast bowlers neither have pace, nor swing and ofcourse a perennial lack of line and length. Our strike bowlers and spearheads like IRFAN and BHAJJI r unable to take wickets on crucial ocassions and yield under pressure.
With rumours around that chappel is vying the Aussie coach after the world cup his place/ comminment to this team will need to be questioned. Give him the contract money (which can be considered lost any way) sack him and give the coaching to Robin Singh , Bishen singh bedi or likes. India is safer in their hands.
Wish Indian team will play in the finals of the World Cup.
Remember all our players do not perform the same with opposite teams, only few do so.
1. First there must be an analysis of individual players strengths and weakness(keep names aside, because performance of many players with big names is below the acceptance level).
2. Bridge the differences between people directly related to the team(coach, selection committee etc..)
3. Only one voice must come out (now there are more than 5 people talking unrelated subjects, which often brings down the morale and performance of the team).
4. Make a 5 member panel of outstanding Senior players and let them advise the team about mistakes from our side and tackling the attack of the opposite team after each match starting from next match.
5. Find out one more striking bowler and put him in the company of Patan, Sreesanth, RP Singh & Agarkar. Out of these 5 bowlers make sure 3 are appearing in each match with our spinners with expert tips & tricks from Indian gaints like Kapil Dev, Srinath, Kumble etc..
We have the experts here... why do we go behind other nationals ??? think & act...
