Inspite of all the societal shortcomings namely female infanticide etc you have to agree that Sikhs are the real gutsy people of this country. relax dudes, we are supposed to be celebrating Abhinav all together... lets hope all the state CMs, companies and sponsors who are piling money upon Abhinav will also start investing in other sports in a regular basis. After the excitement surrounding last Olympics silver died down, people forgot everything, other sports continued to get neglected and cricket continued to hog all the limelight.

You don't your history properly. Go back to 1980s and read what were those circumstances which have lead to many problems. And who were behind that? And you come back to present now, now look at your Northern most...found Kashmir? Then look at North-East, found anything bizarre? People can gel within the nation only when they get due respect and deserving treatment complemented with the opportunities (to live their lives). Is it happening? Same happened in 1980s.
