India for dogs and rats

Nothing will change in India. Reservations are taken by some people of the lower castes...even they wont let more poorer people in their own community to take up the reservation in the next generation. India will never be a place for scientists/researchers....Indians will keep fighting like this forever. If castes have to go from our society, government should not recognize castes and should define some criterion ( independent of caste ) that would still help the poor people. It is not that the reservation policies are to help anyone, they are here just as means of vote bank politics these days. If politicians are that much interested in bringing up the downtrodden mass, they should give top quality education to people living in slums. Open world class CBSE schools for kids from slums/tribal areas, let us see why these people can not compete with anybody else in the society. I challenge Dr. Manmohan Singh - if you have guts, give good primary education rather than giving psuedo reservations in higher education and jobs....but unfortunately you dont have guts like any other politicians...you can not think beyond opportunistic politics....india will go down due to lack of good scientists and forget about the US, we will never be able to beat even the chinese in science....as Prof CN Rao has rightly said, India is headed for death of science ( if it has not already happened)...
Jai Hind, let us keep fighting till India is finished

Kittappa,

Very true and very disheartening. I feel the same. I feel, this is the time when we should demolish all the caste ism in the Hindu religion. Make all the same under one roof to make our religion and nation stronger. God know, who , how and when someone will initiate the process. Otherwise it is not the science but the whole community with culture will die.
