I entirely agree with the thoughts expressed by hesh Mashalkar. There is no such thing as searching for real talent. The selection based on the number of votes polled through SMS is by far the worst thing that can happen to the real talent search. Since access to the cell phones is so easy even chidren in their primary school ages are freely sending the SMS without knowing even the basics of music. It is high time the stalwards in the entertainment industry give a serious thought of encouraging the real musical talent.

Hi Prabhakar I should rather say that you are more than hundred percent correct. The so called "real talent hunt" is nothing but new ways to the TV Channels to fill in their pockets through increased TRPs and excessive advertisements. The pathetic condition of Indion Idol 1 and Indion Idol 2 is apparently visible to the mob. Inspite of winning these so called realities shows for "talent hunt" the champions are nowhere found performing in any of the good movies. These shows are a realy waste of time. The Judges at these shows think themselves as real "Gods" and fight with each other like stray mad dogs. Worst way to befool the TV Viewers and the contestancts as well. It should be thoroughly protested and rather banned.
