Mohammed Rafi : The Legend
by Kishore Rawat on Jul 31, 2006 05:16 PM   Permalink

Undoubtedly the GREATEST singer till date in Indian Cinema. No other singer comes anywhere close to the range of Rafisaab. In today's times when mere remixes and clones have flooded the market, it's Rafisaab's voice which stands out. Rafisaab rendered all kinds of songs with his gifted voice, be it classical songs in "Baiju Baawara", romantic melodies for Shankar-Jaikishan in 60-70s, comedy centered songs for Gurudatt/Johny Walker. All. Even later with R.D.Burman in late 70s and 80s with gems like "Chaand Mera Dil...". Even now it gives goose bumps when you listen to that song from Rafisaab. Tribute from the core of our heart to the King of Indian music.

Regards

Kishore Rawat
