Rafisaab is among the greatest singers India has ever produced. He remains in our hearts forever. When he died, Shammi Kapoor was informed that 'he has lost his voice'. Such was rafi saab's legacy. I still remember that filmfare award winning song 'Kya hua tera waada'. What a fantastic song !!!. And who can forget that BHAJAN (for a hindi movie) which was picturised, composed & sung by 3 people (all muslims). Long live Rafi

The song you are referring to is "Man tadpath Hari dharshan ko aaj" from Baiju Bawra, written by Shaqil Badayuni and composed by Naushad. I am glad that communal harmony is strengthened by Rafi, Naushad and all such great personalities. We do not perceive them as Muslims. They are God's gift to us. Rafi saab himself has sung in "Dhool ka Phool", "Tu Hindu banega na Musalman banega, insaan ki aulad hai insaan banega", written by Sahir Ludhiyanvi and composed by N.Dutta.
