mr.mayur it is a pity that someone like you failed to appreciate mohd.rafi. for your info, in his days, there were great singers like talat mahmood, manna dey, mahendra kapoor etc. I agree that some songs had great lyrics, but in a movie like dosti where the lyrics are simple day to day words, the songs were elevated because of rafi. Rafi saab became famous because he had the voice of god. To let you know, he sang some movies just for free because the producers were in debt and he wanted to help them. Also if you know, mohd rafi never demanded a specific amount of money, but just accepted whtever the producer gave him. He was a great and kind human being apart from being a legendary singer.
