Rediff, please dont make him a national Hero
by subish achamparambil on Mar 28, 2008 06:58 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

By giving his workaholic feature and greatness to work, dont make him a national hero. there are many people including Army persons who are more dedicated and hardworking than this show off man!!

So as per you nobody in this world should be praised for there work except army men..Why only army man only can become national hero. Actor, Singer, businessmen also can become national hero, agree or not SRK is India's international hero.

Yeah he is a hero! If he use his stardom for good reason .. like talk against national issues and all .. public will hear !! because a hero is saying the same ... but instead he is paying many cheap papers like TOI and all for cheap publicity and doing nothing good for common public ... i love his movies .. i like him .. after that wat?? he shud have some responsibilities na ?

I love how Rediff makes an article about how great Shah Rukh Khan is just after they have an article with him getting the most votes for most overrated actor. Rediff, you prove our point.

paanchavi paas... looks not so good
by Subramanian kumar on Mar 27, 2008 10:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

sharukh posing for this photo. he doesnt look so great as he is claimed by others. there is a small smile and his body seems to be disproportionate to the dress he is wearing. Also his acting is same (with chuckling or pretending to be chuckling) for all scenes be it happy or emotion or party or sad. Almost always his speaches also seem to be indirectly self-centred. whats the fuss about him ? Why people go mad for him and abuse amongst themselves with one going too high while the others using bad words? There is no such hype towards cine actores in the western world. Although these guys in hollywood give photographs like this, people dont go crazy except looking at them as a human being. I think thats what make bollywood and India stincking.

what do u know about Hollywood? Do you know how much Britney Spears's stinky daily routine gossip is worth today? its more than a BILLION DOLLORS!!! India is great in comparison when they praise a self made man!

yes. my point is no one is crazy for britney. If so, it is just restricted to a limit. But this kind of elevation to cine actors is pathetic. Sharuk is not a self made man, he is a selfish man. Why is such a great respect and devotion given to cinema heroes? after all they dont do their heroism in true. Why is his name coming in the headings every day every where? It shows the significance given to him for his drama. And of course this applies to his competitors too.

Indian Television- a copy cat media
by naveen siddaramaiah on Mar 27, 2008 06:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Do we have any creativity inour television at all? After copying 'Who wants to be a millionaire'-kaun banega karodpathi, 'Big brother'- Big boss (if I have heard the name right) and lot other quiz program, it is now to this '---- paanchvi pass-----',which sounds a copy of a Brit TV program 'Do you think you are smarter than 10year old'.
I am sure if talent is welcomed and supported, we can produce quiz programs which are very original to our Indian television.
It does not matter whether SRK anchors it or AB. Everyone works for money and there is nothing wrong in SRK accepting it, but again it does not prove his multi-tasking abilities.

Dude...It's gonna be exact copy of American series "Are you smarter than a fifth grader"..so you can see that Indian ppl don't even change the name of the show just copy it same to same in Hindi..can indian come up with any self ideas other than those saas bahu series..Shame on indians who watch these shows..better change to american channels and enjoy the originality..American idol to Indian idol, KBC and what not...

I hope you all know that shows like American Idol, Dancing with the stars, Who wants to be a millionaire, Are you smarter than a 5th grader all which have originated either in the USA or UK have become franchises almost - the spin offs and adaptations of these shows are done legally worldwide - not only India!!!...in almost every country...its the globalization of everything basically..nothing to do with copying or anything.

Does our Indian television industry know how to produce original programs at all? After copying 'Who want to be a millionaire'- 'kaun banega karodpathi', 'Big brother'- 'big boss', and lot other quiz programs, it is now this 'kya aap paanchvi pass ______' which sound again a copy of Brit TV program 'Do you think you are smarter than 10 year old?'
Do we lack creativity in our television industry, no need to mention all the boring n dragging 'saas bahu kahanis'.
I am sure if talent is welcomed and supported, we can make these quiz programs very original to Indian television.

Artist kyun bane yaar, Baniya banate to Ambani ki tarah logonko kam se kam naukariya to de pate!! Your life is total vain man!!!

yeah... agreed he is a hard working guy but i think money is the thing which forces him to work hard or may be even harder.

He is a genious entertainer & does not get into controversy. Shahrukh keep entertaining the world & the world will be in your feet. God bless him & his family. Long live SRK.

Seeing 2 much of him now a days on television and also on the big screen and because of his unnecessary and foolish antics other more important, serious and good actors are getting overshadowed.

I have no complaints of him making lots of money, but unfortunately he is trying to turn everything into a business of sorts, including entertainment.
