Very well said Prabhu. I really appriciate your effort. This must be an eye opener for all provided Rediff takes it seriously. Our news channels have no standard. On one hand where Aajtak has become a cricket only news channel on the other hand NDTV has become the brand ambessador of KBC. Bangalore was burning due to the communal riots at the time of muharram & at the time of Cauvery verdict but the very first big news in Aajtak was the selection of players in Indian Cricket team and similarly NDTV news readers also feel proud saying something about KBC with smiling faces. I dont know what the hell are they doing by opening 24 hrs news channel & i donno y we the people waste our time on them. I really appriciate you for giving us the true news of Major Pitambare. I salute him.

Really its a important news which I hadn't read out till now. But when I came to knew about it. I was shocked that how the news channels are not showed this news. Its must knew by every Indian. And I appreciate your effort, Prabhudas

I appreciate yor sentiment.We must salute the brave soldier for his sacrifice.But tell me how many person are as sentimental as you.Here in this materliast world only brand matters and here may be sanjay Dutt is bigger brand as far as reel world is concerned.
Also I fel that your heart was moved also to a extent because he was fellow maharastrian,in the same way when there were tears in the eyes of Anupam Kher when he heard the sobbing voice of Priyadarshini Mattoo's father another fellow Kashmiri Pandit. Also what I feel that we should stop sympathezing army men who become victim of bullets.See he/she joined the army fully aware of the dangers.Nobody forced him to go for such job.If He/She has the capability then nobody stopped him from joining IIT/IIM and do the job. Each job has its pros/con and we should be fair to every body.

Prabhu, Great Response. Rediff has been dishing downright crap these days and they too have joined these Page3 sites, who keep publishing unwanted information. I salute Major Manish, sadly true heroes are not recongnized and we end up glorifying someone who has been given preferntial treatment for reasons we all know off.
