This is stupidity at it's peak. Some jockey comments on some indian idol and the idol's fans stop an ambulance. Is the procession more important that someone's life? Where are we heading?

Indian idol is not finding the most imporved singer. It is to find the best talented singer in india. And it failed to do that cause of some foolish indians..like the darjeelin, calcutta and nepali people...

I m upset for Amit but i m equally happy for prashant , after all he his one of our brother from north east india
Reality show producers trying to copy their western franchises have been overdoing the hype which has peaked to such stupid levels. The Indian Idol show itself was too much lavish praises on mediocre talent at best. The final shows were vulgar in which innocent girls in their teens like Pooja Chatterjee & Ankita were decked up in provocative way. This is a dangerous trend when you exhibit such young girls as sex symbols. I wonder how the parents take all this in Indian society today. The same can be said of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa where the judges seemed to started a dating game between the Pakistani contestant Amanat & Sumedha. Its in horribly low taste but we never seen any outrage. Parents should put their foot down when their children are used in inappropriate manner. Indian cable tv needs to be monitored or else its going to have adverse effect on a highly conservative Indian society.

highly conservative indian society???? what the hell are you talking about. you are talking like 'Kua ka mendak". See how boys and gals are enjoying their life before getting married, burqua clad gals are not behind.we pretend to be conservative but do many things behind.go to any gals hostel, do some jasusi n you ll be amazed.
I watched last 2 indian idols. Some how today I am disappointed too much. Both the time I thought lesser deserving candidates won. This year I thought Amit, Emon, Deepali, Pooja, Abhishek were much better in both singing and performing than the winner.
Last year too Karunya and Amey much better in all ways than the ultimate winner. Though I did not watch the 1st one, my friends told me that Amit shna was better than the winner.
'Baar baar laggaataar' voting is really dangerous. That leads to NOTHING. It looks like pattern of deciding the idol should change, if viewers need to retain the interest. Judges should have substancial say in the decision. That will lend credibility and serenity. DK

We indians always choose loosers to be winners...Prasanth tamang was a good singer but not the top 10 quality. He should never have been in the final 10 picks. This guys sucks big time. Amit & Emon were the best i wud think...

tell me one thing , if u had a bro or sis performing in indian idol and they may be not then best singer like other participant, to whom u would hv voted??
