Rafi saab to me is the only KING OF MELODY. Unki aawas kaano me rus ghol deti hai. And there is still no match even after 26 years since he left us. Lots of singers came and gone but the second Rafi is yet to come and I think only God can creat the second one.
I grew up listening to Rafi's songs- some sad, some lively, few qawallis, some gazals- his voice modulations were amazing, his voice oh so melodious!!He was the greatest of ll singers we had- since he had such variations in his singing styles. I was in the VIII std when he left us- but even now I always listen to his songs and enjoy them the most.
Mohd Rafi is beyond doubt the greatest of all singers in Indian film industry. A thorough versatile and genuine singer whose contribution to Film and non-film industry is beyond comparable. I was just six years old when we lost this legend but his songs are all time favourite and will remain for years to come for me and everybody. Only regret is that I wish I could hear him singing live. Hats off to this singing maestro.
Sir, For me Rafi Saab is like a God. I grew up listening to his songs. Though a Malyalee, my knowledge of Hindi is associated with Rafi Saab's songs. During my first 20 years in Orissa, Bihar and Delhi, Rafi Saab's songs of different period has a bearing on corresponding periods of my life. I will cherish the richness of his songs till my last breath.

You are cent percent right...Being a virgin or not is not a big problem here. Its like making a big issue over a small tissue..Life is short..Be happy with out hurting anyone and at the same time be smart enough not to get hurt..
Rafisaab is among the greatest singers India has ever produced. He remains in our hearts forever. When he died, Shammi Kapoor was informed that 'he has lost his voice'. Such was rafi saab's legacy. I still remember that filmfare award winning song 'Kya hua tera waada'. What a fantastic song !!!. And who can forget that BHAJAN (for a hindi movie) which was picturised, composed & sung by 3 people (all muslims). Long live Rafi

The song you are referring to is "Man tadpath Hari dharshan ko aaj" from Baiju Bawra, written by Shaqil Badayuni and composed by Naushad. I am glad that communal harmony is strengthened by Rafi, Naushad and all such great personalities. We do not perceive them as Muslims. They are God's gift to us. Rafi saab himself has sung in "Dhool ka Phool", "Tu Hindu banega na Musalman banega, insaan ki aulad hai insaan banega", written by Sahir Ludhiyanvi and composed by N.Dutta.
there are lots of favourite songs sung by the gifted singer, my personal favourite being "pukarta chala hoon main, music by o.p. nayyar" there are others notably all shammi kapoor no's, tu ganga ki mauj from baiju bawra etc.
