Rafi was, is and will always remain THE BEST SINGER. There is certainly no comparison to his songs, they are the best. I like almost any song sung by Rafi:- Tere mere sapne ab ek rang hain Teri aankhon ke siva duniya mein Aaja re aa zara Mere mehboob tujhe meri mohabbat ki kasam Aap ke haseen rukh pe aaj Chaudhvin ka chand ho Its an endless list!
Rafi Saab, the only and the only... There was'nt anyone like him before him, there isn't anyone today and there wont be any... His voice was truly divine..Only gods voice can be so sweet.. and versatile. Name a song and Rafi Saab used to sign it in a way no one could better.

Well said Ajay but Alas there is a lobby which decides whom the award should be given to and since Rafisaab was apolitical who will fight his case,If you see the list of bharat ratna awardees http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bharat_Ratna, you will fail to understand why Rafisaab is not there.
mohd. rafi is an immortal singer who sang as no one ever could. more tha a singer, he was the most humble and decent of men. I pay tribute to the greatest and worthiest of 'em all " Mohd. Rafi"
Generally, I worship God, not human beings. But, If there is one human that is worthy of worship, it is Mohammad Rafi. Both as a singer and as a citizen.
To choose one song from his vast repertoire is like looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack. All the same, I would like readers and lovers of Rafisaab to listen to this one from a little known film called Bindiyaa. Written by Rajinder Krishan and composed by Iqbal Qureshi, you cannot help shedding a tear or two:
Md.Rafi was my favourite singer in my younger days and ofcourse even today! There are many favourite songs of his but one I can recollect immediately is "Khoya Khoya Chand"...!from Kala Bazar again from one of my favourite hero Devanand's movie. Also I recollect "Abhi Na jao Chodkar" from Humdono and "Din daljaye"..from Guide.
