the only things not known to public

are courts, jails and govt offices.

someone must strike a deal with the govt and CJI that you allow us to cover and broadcast public offices of govt - like passport office, rationing, election offices, etc, 24x7 on national channels and we stop doing any mischievous coverage.

if you have strong Constitution lawyers, you dont need deals either.
Public offices are run on public money. Their daily workings should be telecast live.

Corruption will shit in its pants and die without a stink. Only 10% of govt officers will remain thieves - the top few - the rest will be reformed.

it will be that much easier.
Live broadcast of Parliament has never breached Parliament security.

But they know that nobody watches legal debates

Live broadcast of BMC and passport offices will not have similar lazy response. People will come out and participate. and it will be difficult to reverse the mass social transparency movement.

Swine flu will also decrease because you cannot spit in Govt offices!!

This is already done by Kerala CM office some time back
This is being done by Obama administration.

There is no reason why India, a *better* democracy (although a horrible economy) cannot do this constitutional change.

Hawala will get affected.
Tax evasion will get affected.
Fake stamp papers will be difficult.
General respect for law will increase trmendously

If this is done in peace time, we might totally prevent a war time.

Act now or fight later.

Re: once they become rich, most forget the past

actually the problem with such inspiration is that people only want the fruits without walking the path.

Half the guys reading this will be loathe to do a tenth of the hard work these people have had to do and yet want the full result.

How is that going to happen mathematically?

So the more powerful thinkers among such dreamers try to become rich by printing fake notes, cheating other people, lying, stealing and so on.

Focus on net worth produces criminals. Period.

Focus on methods produces successes.

Focus on awards produces competition.

Focus on knowledge produces research.

Focus on results does not produce efficiency, focus on cooperation does.

Perfect machine parts cannot produce finished products.

Perfectly tuned machine parts can.

in Mumbai.

That is all.
All over the country people go on with their lives, without making a fuss.

In Mumbai too, everyone continued.

Must admit, the Govt exercised great restraint under the circumstances. Our two decades of economic hard work would have gone down the drain if we had taken the bait of war.

And the people supported the Govt too.
And gave their verdict too.

Things could have been much much worse.
Preparations for WW3 were going on track with Israel attacking Gaza over one single Gilad Shalit.

And Georgia destroying Ossetia because of Sakaashvili.

Georgians now see the real nature of the operation, without the blur of Russian tanks which made them falsely loyal to Sakaashvili.

Then Obama spoke, rather than bombed.

And the Polish missile defence thing got postponed.

Meanwhile two nuke submarines collided with each other for the thrills of it.

Whatever Dubya may say, a low intensity WW3 was quite near.
Instead Iraq and Afghanistan continue.

But of course, guns must sell !!

Now China has a stockpile of old weaponry that they want to dump on some country and make some quick bucks.

I just hope Russia keeps its sanity.

The stray dog analogy also explains why we never seem to bother about environmental pollution.

See there is a nice dust bin at the corner of the street where you get fresh leftovers which are enough for all dogs on the street.

However, when the evil Municipality guys come and remove that dustbin, then even the scraps and leftovers are not available.

Then the hungry dogs literally start hunting for rats and insects (prostitution, crime, drugs, riots)

But none of those dogs give a thought to safely maintaining the main source of food which is the dustbin with the leftovers.

As a result, eventually, dogs start dying of hunger.

Similarly, we as a country are turning a blind eye to the fact that the powerful global elite is trying everything to steal our steady source of food - rains and crops and agriculture.

We, dogs, are watching bitches because we are too indulgent to understand that Municipality workers are slowly pulling the dustbin away from our street (agro-economic stability/prosperity) and putting it in their street (US / EU / China).

If we dont stop them from taking away our only stable source of food, by reducing our false reliance on petroleum, a day will soon come where all of us dogs will realise that the bitches are good to look at (luxury, malls, ipods, cars, SUVs, air travel), but that activity does not FEED us.

So we need to stop looking at those attractions and start thinking of climate, agriculture DAMN SERIOUSLY.

OR

we can eat rats next year!
