Good for nothing
by Naga Pavan on Apr 04, 2007 03:45 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Why everybody is back of the Coach? what can a coach do when the senior players are not dedicated. to be frank a coach has nothing for the players. He can show them the direction to the players and the rest is to be done by the players. They are in the A team, right. They know the game... so they are there. It has been going since a long time, that senior players doesn't hear the coach...especially in India as all the players have records and are No1 players in their respective fields. the present players do not have any interest or dedication to play hard so thay play hardly as they get their grub very easily and good money from the advertisements. If a player plays well in his first series against a minnow, he is held up to the sky and all awards and what not are ushered on him. On getting all these he stops thinking of game and starts thinking of the money.

A tough decision should be taken by the board and everything shall be revamped. Let the younger lot who are good be taken anf the older lot be done away. We need experience for guiding the lot and the older lot may be good at that now. Stop including politics in games.

Coach is the main person who should responsible for all this. He spoiled the entire Indian team. Senior players cann't hear the coach - which is not beliveable. Why he give the statement at this time? Why not in the last year?
