Now it may not be the case anymore. They have their own players who have gained fame. And moreover in Bangladesh it is considered serious crime if anyone is a fan of non muslim.

My bangladesh friends have told that to me. Their own friends threaten them for being a fan of sachin tendulkar.

well if u can say something like that without actually having been to bangladesh i can say...the indian team has a rule that they won't take more than 3 muslim players on its team

one muslim player was made captain of indian cricket team. Do you remember Azhar uddin? Azhar was an excellent field and a great player. How many hindu players can be captain of bangladesh or Pakistani cricket team? Now India got a muslim president and he a talented scientist.
