It is tough to describe Kumble in a few words. One would probably need to write a book to describe him and his achievements. I always called him part of the fabulous five. Indian team is ultimately the loser. No one can fill his big boots for years to come. One thing I can say with certainty, his record will last for years to come. For a bowler to keep delivering for 18 years consistently is a herculean task. Kumble, I for one would always miss you.

Kumble was an unique spinner who can't be compared to any other spinner. He was not a great spinner of the ball but varied his line and length and got enough bounce to deceive any batsman. He was very unpredictable.
