cmon guys... this is the same team which has given us so much joy over the years.... it is not fair on the fans part to kick the team when they are down... even australia lost 5 matches in a row to Eng and NZ... but no one asked for ponting / gilchrist/ mcgrath to be sacked... it is a game and should be enjoyed in the spirit of the game.. i am sure the indian team will bounce back if we keep giving our support...

No body questioning why India lost as winning/loosing is a part of game . Most hurting part is that manner in which India lost .See the attitude of Bangladeshi players .They have put every thing in the match against India . Has India done that ??? See how Srilanka given tough fight to South Africa yesterday even at the low score . This is called cricket .

hey bhatia.....its something called morale.......thats applicable in life....morale can be up....morale can be down......open ur eyes ......the bullshit media in our country kept falsely portraying the Indian blues as the team to beat in the final....this was not the case......we just won the lone hole series against lanka........thats it.....so blame NDTV, Zee, India Today, Outlook, The Week....they are the true architects of our sorrow now

jude you hit the nail on the head... the main blame shud be on the media... they turn players into gods and then break them when they fail....this same media will be turning them back into gods after the next series victory...

yes..its fine to be with them in their worst times...but in the manner they played, without any fight was really shameful act..Aust lost 5 matches, but scored 330 in order to win series, but NZ and ENG were gud enough with their batting..also AUS v SA and SA v SL matches, they gave fight before surrendering...that is cricket and this is how it shd be played...

enayath......the players have full reponsibility WHEN the selectors have made up their mind as to what should be the permanent batting order.......putting dravid at no . 5 for example is like putting shaquille oneal in the ball handling position......9 times out of 10 it wont work but u have one good day......this rubbish game of 'SURPRISING ' the opponents everytime a new batsman has to walk in is crap.....that move is good when its tactical NOT PERMANENT.....the reason australia and SA do well is because the lousy board, coach and captain have the right frame of mind to decide on a consistent approach to very game.....dont blame the players.....no matter how much they earn from advertising colas or condoms,.......they are still pawns in front of the BCCI...... shame on u enayath

Hi all. Its a nice discussion here. I appreciate your understandings. I think, its not really help India by just blaming the players. One will only know how it feels when he is facing the ball there sorrounded by 10 fielders. But, you see, all our cricketers were experienced, batted more than other teamers, rated high compared to others (esp batting order). Besides, its their profession guys. One should be honest to their profession. I know we need to support. We supported the team which lost most of the world cups so for and the team which won 83 cup. But, this one is really unbeleavable. This was not the expectation from them. We know media and Ad did almost 50 percent of harm in the begining itself. But, if you are sure of death in the battle field, better bie a heros death..... its that simple. It hurts a lot. Atleast even fans should get some room to make their arguments. I think, its the players who need to take it positively. I am sure, they will.
