mr just look at the teams and the venues where dravid has won the matches, mostly against zimbabwe west indies, depleted srilanka and strugglilng poor england in india.i m from bangalore i love dravid as a player but he does not have the leadership qualities like kapil or saurav.
he was miserable captain he did not even inspire the fan let alone the team. he is hard working but failed to get the team together for a cause.

u have mentioned almost all the teams.......what abt Dravid winning single handedly the match against australia and the kind scores he has made agnst SA, get ur memory right.......yes dravid is very soft and not aggressive, if observe all the players from K'ntk right from the brgining are of similar attitude with clean image, no politics...probly that is the mistake.

i dont know how long u have been following indian cricket ,LET ME TELL U STATS MEAN A BIG NOTHING. one problem india has always had is mediocre captains which includes kapil dev azhar sachin veng krish, so no point in looking at them for answers. only time we had good captains is sunny in 85 b&h series and then ganguly . it is not just winning ratios, the way u play the game is important, aggresive and go get it attitude. that has been lacking since two years. ur team is just stagnating now. so itz time say bye to dravid & chappell go back to ganguly and relearn the winning ways. mean while selectors should identify ur future captain and groom him, in may be two years time.
