But why does the Indian team always end up on the losing side of the game in crunch situations

coz..players like robin singh who had a killer instinct and consistently performed in crunch situations was treated as second grade players whereas sachin who makes tons of runs in non-pressure situations is treated as demi god.

I agree , Sachin has not performed in crunch games since against Australia in Sharjah & that was more then a decade ago. That guy is a over rated player who has no stomach for crunch situations

70 odd in Asia cup final in 2004 chasing 220, 141 against pakistan in rawalpindi in 2004...124 against pakistan in 2005 which shud have drawn the series if it wasnt for ganguly's defensive tactics....
