How many of the readers here must have read yesterday's article in the Times of India by IT chief NR Narayana Murthy? It is a must-read for everyone interested in the game. We, Indians, are just beginning to understand the importance of "processes" in any discipline and this change has come about only after globalization. The mantra, therefore, is "a good and incorruptible system, sound processes, conviction to implement such processes and above all, a rigorous self-discipline to stay along the course" until the final destination. Even beyond the destination, it is always "improvement" over your last attained goal and that is the way the world has progressed. Before pointing an accusing finger against Chappell (without knowing or having full facts of his terms of reference and whether his ideas were fully implemented or what was his strategy and how good the team was in implementing that strategy), we should have the candour to do some honest self-introspection. Let us not jump the gun. What NRN said about Infosys is bang on target. Let us not mock at the processes!

Wonderful! Thank you for mentioning it. Great article. Wonder if Indian cricketers read it. Am sure not.
