The issue is : why retain Rahul and Greg Chappell?? What have they done to merit one more opportunity? India have been humiliated, we have not even been able to make it to super 8, itis a disaster for Indian cricket. Rahul Dravid does not even merit a place in the Indian one day team. Chappell days should be over!!

VRV singh has been a complete failure in the chances that he has got till now and also a poor fielder. Sreesanth can go for a lot of runs in his first spell and is unpredictable. Piyush chawla is too raw to make an impact at international level. against England he was ineffective at best. Badrinath might be the surprise packet!!

I agree that there is no real reason to change Chappel and Dravid. However, given the politics associated with India's defeat, one of the 2 has to go. In that case, Chappel should go and Dravid should continue as the captain. Every Indian, without exceptions, makes a few mistakes and unless the reason for the defeat can be explicitly identified to bad captaincy, the captain should not be changed. Clearly, this charge against Dravid cannot be proved. Besides, there is no other captaincy candidate who can hold his position in the team as a player. The question of replacing Dravid should not arise.
Else, Tendulkar should be rested for a series or two, not that we have lot of talented batsmen capable of replacing him, but because, once dropped, it will help him ease the burden of a 'legend' or a 'master'. He can play much better if people start expecting less of him. Ganguly needs to be given some more chances to to prove his form. He needs to score a big knock pretty quickly and in convincing fashion to prove that his comeback is indeed successful.
