Let us forget what has happened along with old (above 30) players of the present WC team. Rebuild team with young players sidelined for many years inspite of promise because of iconic old players with fitness difficulties and reflexes. Be it Sachin, Sourav, Dravid or Kumble, they should be dropped if they do not retire from the game on their own. Now the question arises who would be the Captain of the future team? He should be a man with strong mental set up and earns respect from his ability but his lifestyle is respectable to team as well as to the public ( no heroic attitude). All selected players (30 in all) be given monthly compensations match fee (on match to match basis) depending on performance and debarred from sponsorship and advertisements for the period he remains as selected members.Out of the selected players most deserved one should be selected as captain. Lastly an Indian coach be considered who will do the job along with other assistants. And no interference from selectors or BCCI bosses.
