If this happened in sub-continent.
by Ravi K on Mar 24, 2007 05:10 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

If this happened in the sub-continent this murder could never have come to light - be it pakistan, india or Bangladesh.
Look at least one of the pakistani player is involved in the murder of their coach.
Involvement of Betting mafia from Dubai, Karachi, Mumbai cannot be ruled out.
Interrogating past crickters like Azharuddin would get some clues about how the mafia controls cricket.
Hansie Cronje was killed in Air-Crash - was that really air-crash or was it done to protect other in the match fixing case?

Mr ravi i think ur trying to be an investigator , an accuser and a judge in this case. have ur senses right and let the investigation do the job. Azharuddin be interrogated for what for he became a scape goat few years back. See one thing "Everybody" took money at that time and only on some the axe was made to fall. This was the injustice done at that time

yeah - now that you mention it. maybe cronje wasnt killed in an accident after all. the cricket betting rings seems to bear all the trademark of the mumbai-to-gulf bad criminals. or else, who'd have the audacity to kill a coach of a national team mid-way through the worldcup!
