We people suffer from an acute sense of selective amnesia. We just forget that there are atleast 5 to six players who represented the country during the last world cup and under very similar circumstances took us to the final.
Secondly, i dread to think of what is coming on this indan mindset. After all this is a game and not a religion as one of those tv channels want us to think so. The most important aspect is to play and do so sportively. learn to be a good loser too. And let's not brag about the so called lack of killer instinct. If anybody feels that way, i would invite him to show his talent rather than sitting in the cool comfort of his drawing room and head the critics panel.
So ease off and treat it as any other game, not raise fanatical fervor. Remember,We are Indians, not Pakistanis. We have a culture and tradition to uphold.

Sir, u have too big heart I belive. Well if a team cannot perform let BCCI spend the money spent for them to some poor yar. 1000's of family will live with it.Let us all not watch cricket. Wht do we become so crazy fans, make them earn so much, and then bloody cry when nothing happens there in the ground?

its about money. when you pay 100 extra to your cable wala for games, you want entertainment. if someone in USA pay 150$ for the world cup viewership he too want india should play well. in fact players and BCCI has sold themselves for their value and its no more a sport.
once i have paid , i want full value of my money. remember the days when cricket was free on DD on indias loss protest were not there.
now we know player are wasting our time and money and we want them to be replaced by those players who can give youu back the money paid.
its simple, nothing related to emotions and games. its called capitalism. play or perish, make money or get lost.
